These just arrived, so can't make any comments to their durability or longevity, but in all honesty, I'm incredibly impressed with them. I've had several kinds of USB speakers before, from NXT flat panel speakers to somewhat bulky bookshelf-style speakers. The sound from these is markedly improved over my previous ones, having a more well-rounded sound and a surprising amount of power. Of course, since these are single-driver speakers, they're going to have some limitations in terms of frequency range, but it's a lot less noticeable than USB speakers I've had previously.I started out testing them on my phone, just plugged into a USB3 port on my computer. While I didn't get a lot of volume out of them at the time, I was surprised at how much detail was in the sound. Of course, only being powered by USB3 (which by spec tops out at 0.9 amps), I could hear some artifacts from the amplifier being overdriven. Next, I plugged them into my Chromecast and a 2.4 amp wall charger. I was shocked at the amount of sound coming out of the speakers, to the point where I immediately had to turn them down about halfway (both on the speakers themselves and on the chromecast). Of course, like with any single-driver speakers, the bass will tend to drop off a bit with distance, so these aren't going to be hosting any thumping dance parties, but for USB powered speakers, these are the best I've run into so far. Of course, this makes me want to explore and see if there are other ones that can top them, now that I have a glimpse of what's possible.

Inexpensive solution for computer speakers. I didn't need anything powerful for sound; just something to hear audio when watching videos and these speakers work fine for that. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that the volume control is in the middle of a rather short cable and hangs behind the computer desk where it can't be easily reached for volume adjustments. The work around is to leave it turned up and then adjust volume via whatever software program being used. However, most of the time news feeds and other videos start off at full volume when you first click to launch the video. So that's not a perfect work around.

These speakers deliver a lot of volume for their very low price. Besides standard front firing drivers, there is also a passive radiator in the back of each speaker, to reinforce the bass. The sound quality is surprisingly good. The 3.5 mm plug is compatible with almost all audio devices out there. Only limitation is the USB plug that is required for electrical power. You could possibly use some kind of USB adapter that plugs into the electrical wall socket. Your computer should have extra USB sockets, could you can use for this purpose.

I bought these to use on my desk at work. Thankfully I work alone on the graveyard shift because these speakers are loud!Great sound quality with both music and the spoken word; i am not hearing any distortion, vibration or hums.I'm happy with this purchase.

Very solid speakers for the price they have good sound quality and punchy bass not deep bass. Don't regret the purpose at all.Only reason why it didn't get a 5 star from me is because it had feedback at low volumes but couldn't hear it at higher levels

Great value! These little speakers are really nice and produce clear sound. They are about 4" tall and are a lot bigger than I anticipated. For USB powered speakers, they really work great!They fit snugly right under my ViewSonic 28" flat monitor... so they're perfect for me.

Good Sound at a Great Price. If you enjoy Bass, look at others. The Bass is adequate but not deep the way I prefer. the sound good enough for me to keep these and not exchange them. the price, very good

Very well-built stereo speakers with a nice bass. They are sufficiently loud - I set them at about 25%. However, I wish they have used a bit longer wires. You can spread the speakers for not more than about 24-27 inches and computer must be next to the monitor.

Obviously these speakers plug straight into a USB so the 5 stars are in that context. Larger speaker with a seprate power supply would be better but all I wanted was to enhance the sound output from my desktop as simply and discreetly as possible. These speakers do just that. The sound is clearer and I can hear more detail without the need for extra power cables. The only small niggle has been mentioned before in that the speaker furthest away from the computer lacks cable. I would have been happier with just a little more cable to ensure a better position either side of my screen. It is a niggle only though as they are doing what I wanted.

Amazing speakers for the price. Produces good quality sounds and are very loud. Doesn't give off any buzzing sounds when putting volume up.

I've just installed the square type. They're not bad, but all these claims of deep base on here are a little bit over the top. OK for the price, but don't expect to your chest to be vibrating - ain't gonna happen.

For the size of the speakers was very impressed obviously they are not going to give a lot of punch but for an overall sound they do the job nicely. Would recommend them

Sound doesn’t come out properly. A weird buzzing sound always occurs when I try to play music. I contacted the seller but he hasn’t replied in 4 months since my email. Don’t buy!! It’s rubbish. There are many other products better than this. You can’t get a refund.

Tinny sound and echo like crazy. I toyed around with the equaliser settings and either had too much bass with sloppy mid-highs or not enough bass, but perfect mid-high audio. Certainly not worth the full price of £64.98

Good quality wee pc speakers with decent sound

Had these had to send them back as one of the speakers didn't work when delivered. In the end bought different speakers.
