Lamps for Living Room Dinning Room Bedroom and Office Accent Lamp with Shade, 13", Rustic Stirrup

I was in need of a small, horse themed, low wattage but high quality lamp for a book alcove in my living room that was to be lit 24/7. After closely examining dozens and dozens here on amazon and a couple of other on-line stores, I chose this one. A great deal of consideration (and time!) went into this selection. It has turned out to be a truly excellent choice and I'm 100% happy. In the area of lamps, you just about always get what you pay for, and I'm very glad that I elected to spend the extra money. There's a definite difference between this lamp and the less expensive small lamps I own, and the quality is extremely obvious! I've received many positive comments from people who have seen it, as well.

This lamp is gorgeous! That’s all I can say. It’s a small item that packs a HUGE punch. I wanted a lamp for my countertop/bar in my kitchen, however, nothing overwhelming. I wanted a small lamp for a side table to provide light for my elderly mother at night. This lamp is perfect. It takes a night light type bulb, so if you are looking for something brighter, it will not be what you need. The birds are cute and realistically detailed. The shade has a floral design on the inside although it doesn't really cast the shapes on the wall.Shipping was fast and on time. Very happy with the purchase.

I liked this lamp very much for the Art Deco aspect. I returned mine. The lamp did not come with a lamp shade collar to hold lamp shade in place. The lamp socket we compromised and did not want to engage in a hazard. However, the description failed to mention the type of lamp it takes other than use a 25watt lamp. It turns out you can't use a regular bulb.

I was able to get this lamp for only $9 through amazon warehouse! The bottom was damaged as stated, but I easily patched it up with some black duct tape since it’s up high and no one can see the bottom of it. I used a 25watt Candelabra lightbulb as another reviewer suggested and it works great! This is also the perfect size for a kitchen counter. I used mine for my pantry. The second pic shows how much light it gives off in the dark. Worth getting it for $9, can’t say I would’ve paid full price for it though.

It's just an expensive night light. It is a gorgeous little lamp. Wish I had known the max voltage for this light. I wanted to use it for a piano light, but its maximum voltage requires a night light bulb. So disappointed.

This lamp gives a nice glow under my kitchen counter. It's a keeper. I use a night light bulb and I love how it looks at night. It's a very nice chicken, too!

Nice lamp although there is a print on the inside of the shade that comes through when the light is on. Be aware that the lamp is small and requires such a small voltage bulb that it puts off about the same amount of light as a dim night light.
