Glanboo Men's Polyester Athletic Running Low Cut Socks, 5 Pack

I had a lot of hope for these socks, I had been looking for something that would give extra padding to my Achilles Tendon, so I was happy to have found these. First let me say, these socks are made well, they have a nice 'feel' to them when they are on my feet. Unfortunately they don't come up very high on the ankle, I understand these are 'low socks' - but I feel the picture misrepresents how they will fit on/over the ankle, mine barely come 'up to' but not 'over' the ankle, I am a size 10M (so about average size) The next issue I encountered was the 'padded lip' on the rear of the sock - nice concept, poor execution - since the socks barely come up to my ankle, the lip on the back falls below the top of the shoe, so the shoe actually 'rubs' above where the 'padded lip' actually sits, offering 'little to no protection' for my Achilles (Disappointment at best) I tried with several different pairs of shoes, from Nike runners  Nike Mens Air One TR Cross Trainer, Dark Grey/Lt Crmsn/Blk/Mdm Gry, 10 , to casual Tevas, the socks did little to offer the extra protection I was expecting from the design/description. I decided to keep the socks mostly because they are comfortable, and I can wear them around the house while not wearing shoes. But for now, my search continues, and my Achilles suffers.

These socks were a great value, and are very comfortable even for warm weather. I bought them for summer in case my feet were a little too cold for just sandals. The quality seems good, and the colors are fine, but they do seem just a little small. I wear a size 9 shoe and the socks seemed a little small.

I should read reviews first before buying. These definitely run small and low. Had to give mine to my wife.

These socks are soft, warm in the winter, but somehow cool enough to wear in the summer months. I have a problem with frequent foot sores secondary to my autoimmune disorder and Raynaud's, but these socks help me to prevent issues before they happen.

Love these! Ordered more! I wear a womans 9.5 or 10 and they don't fall off my heel like many ankle socks do for me. Love the colors too!
