Best of three
I bought three different time lapse cameras. I still have not managed to successfully timelapse anything with the Brino. It is junk. This one worked perfect on the first try, still full battery life after a very long time lapse taking 3 photos a day. This one is the winner. Super easy to set up, great battery life, and the final video was perfect. Skip the others. This is the one.

Mount is on the wrong side to be useful. Had high hopes
The mount was promising but it mounts to the back side of the camera. The "view finder" is on the half of the unit containing the camera and swivels open to access the controls and therefore you cannot see what you will be shooting. Not sure how anyone would be able to frame their shot this way.The interface was definitely a bit frustrating, but I could get used to it and past it, but the mount is a deal breaker. We're searching for the right camera to document the decks we build. This is not it. Returning right away.

great time-lapse camera
Purchased this item as a gift for myself to record drawing process. The camera has incredible battery life, excellent picture quality. It takes very nice daytime images and will last an impressive length of time depending on your setting desires. I think I can grab video from the SD card every few weeks.

needs better manual
Features are not readily accessible. NOT intuitive at all.

Great little camera but a couple issues
I've had mine up on a utility pole for 3 months, lots of room on the memory card, battery life still shows full, videos look good.Biggest problem is the software is not very intuitive. Frustrating to set up but once you get it set, it works well.Keeping the camera aimed the same direction after removing to check the files & battery with the attached bracket is a nightmare. I bought a "SmallRig Quick Release Plate Drop-in HawkLock Mini Quick Release Camera Mount Adapter". Problem solved. This should be included with the camera.

Good value for the price. Weatherproof, surprisingly good night shooting.
The media could not be loaded. I included a video with the review - video from 2am so it's pretty dark out, and daytime video. At night it's grainy and has a lot less detail, but it's too dark to walk by and the camera still got decent video. Daytime looks great. Are the results the same as you'd get from a DSLR? Nope. But for under $200, you get decent 1080p video with good color and a LOT of capture options. You can capture video clips or still images, and the camera will assemble them into an AVI. My sample video was shot from a Mon. starting at 5:10 pm until Weds. at 1am. The file was under 1.5 gig and battery use was negligible. Video is saved in AVI format. There's two main battery compartments and the instructions are not really clear on what they're for. I filled up the batteries in the right side (8 AA) and did not put any in the left side. There is a built-in light for night shooting (nice) and it can be set to on or off. I assume (just guessing) that the left compartment is for the light. The light has the same look and size as a trail camera. It's weatherproof and will take an external 6V power supply. So if you hook up a solar panel you could shoot for months. My main complaint: Frame rate can't be changed. It's locked in at 15 fps, so the video looks choppy. I use premiere pro to improve this. The camera base has a 1/4-20" threaded hole and the back has slots for a strap plus holes for a bungee cord or rope. The back also has a 1/4-20" threaded hole. Included accessories include a 32gig micro-SD card, strap, bungee cord, wall mount.
