The reason I specified you should have polish remover is because I used to be a nail biter and I bought this without knowing you needed a specific remover and cotton pads/balls for it. Maybe it’s not a super common mistake, but it oughta help somebody. Anyway, I’ve been using this very regularly, and it works incredible! The taste is definitely disgusting, and putting this on really helped me avoid biting my nails. It also dries really fast compared to other nail polishes, which is super nice and convenient for regular use. Generally, I’d totally recommend this!

I’ve heard of various deterrents, but this one really stood out with its promise of keeping those bad habits at bay. The bitter taste is strong, lasting in the mouth for a good half an hour. It’s not just a mild unpleasantness—it’s a serious "don’t put your fingers in your mouth" kind of bitterness. The moment you start to bite your nails, the taste hits hard and immediately makes you stop. It’s definitely effective for curbing the impulse. The polish is pretty easy to apply, and it dries relatively quickly, so you don’t have to wait too long before you’re good to go. Unfortunately, this is where the product falls short. The bitter taste doesn't last as long as I’d hoped. After just a few hours, the effect starts to fade and you will have to apply again. That being said, overall a great buy.

I've bitten my fingernails for decades and have managed to mostly stop and absolutely stop when I put this stuff on. It tastes absolutely putrid. If I was a little more diligent about using it I would never bite my nails. As it stands though, I've had to clip and file my nails which is a very new experience for me. May even get a manicure. The only thing I would say is a minor drawback is the it's hard to get the taste out of your mouth even after trying to wash it out with various types of liquids. That said, that's probably part of the point; it's punishing you for the negative behavior. Either way, this stuff really works and if you want to lose the bad habit, it's a huge help.

I bought this in late October. We’ve been using it like clockwork before school, after school, after baths. It worked in the beginning then it’s like my daughter got used to the taste and didn’t care. Now I’m back to the same desperation trying to find something to keep her from chewing her nails off. Not super happy with the product. Definitely doesn’t work for stubborn chewers

So far it has been effective. It reminds my husband (already in his 80’s and a terrible nail biter) not to put his hands in his mouth.It’s only been a few days.I hope it continues to work.

Don’t waste your money it doesn’t work, mines had the lid stuck I was almost impossible to open

I've bit my nails for over 15 years, had to draw a line when my little boy started. I heard of this product but always shot it down and I'm regretting I didn't try it sooner.
