Boswellia Serrata, otherwise known as the Indian frankincense, is a tree native to India and North Africa. It’s famous for its anti-inflammatory properties as well as its ability to support optimal functioning of the joints and connective tissues while also relieving pain in arthritic conditions. Boswellia is believed to enhance blood supply to the joints and support healthy liver functioning. The primary active ingredient is boswellic acid, which is used in many herbal preparations. Clinical studies have shown that boswellic acid exerts anti-inflammatory actions similar to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). It is traditionally used in Ayurveda as an anti-arthritic remedy and as an analgesic.

Much less knee pain! (Updated review)
I'm always skeptical about claims made in supplement reviews. There are so many bogus, biased, reviews on Amazon it's hard to know what's for real. Well this is real! My knees hurt less when I take this supplement! I don't have to take Advil every day now! I'm amazed at the relief I'm getting from this product! I did carpentry for 30+ years and my knees have lost 50% of their cartilage and I have a torn meniscus. My knees pop and hurt often, but this product has given me quite a bit of relief. I even feel like my old self some days, it's nice! I'm on my second bottle now and I'm very happy with the results I'm getting.Update 8-10-17: The formulation has changed and does not provide the same benefits as before. Loss of 3 stars! I no longer recommend this product.

Arrythmia and chest pain after using
Took for general inflammation. Reduced pain, but had to stop taking it. Never leave neg reviews and these guys were prompt and accurate with charges but I ended up in the clinic with arrythmia and chest pain after a cpl weeks on this product. Went on PubMed and turns out Black Pepper Extract and curcumin TOGETHER alter the cardiac potassium pump and cause sometimes FATAL arrythmias. Curcumin alone is fine but gets absorbed by the liver and gut. My cardiologist never heard of curcumin, much less black pepper extract. Had to research it on my own. Who knew?!? Do your homework, ppl! There are safer, more effective alternatives out there. Too bad, cuz this company is probably genuinely trying to help people. God Bless.

Hellz yessss
This is an amazing product. Broke my knee years ago. Wore a knee brace until I started taking this. Now I don't even need ibuprofen. I tell everyone I can about it.
