I've been using this for about a week, seems to be good so far. The water stream coming out is faster than the Pur water filter and the water has no chlorine taste. The price is also good. I will order again after seeing how they work over time.

Great value, love that it removes the nasty taste of city water. Great water quality, no smell of chemicals, softens water and easy filter replacement.

Single person here. What a bargain! This will last me 18 months.

These don't fit as good as the actual thing BUT they work just fine. That said... they don't last as long as they claim. Your milage may vary, but I burn through about one a month rather than 3 months.

Great tasting water

First of all, please be aware that Amazon mixes reviews for similar products, therefore if one vendor is selling fakes and another is selling the real thing, the reviews are going to be all over the place, confusing everybody.I purchased Amazon item number B08D3J3NHZ, a 6-pack of PUREPLUS RF9999 filters. The page had some fine print that I did not read at the time of purchase. It said:"Please note this is a compatible spare part. This filter is not sourced by or sponsored by Pur. When I installed one of these filters the water pressure was high, the same as the way the fixture works if you were to remove the filter entirely. With previous filters, I noticed a significant pressure drop after installing a real PUR filter since it has 3 separate layers. Furthermore, as real PUR filters fill up with contaminants they actually produce less and less pressure over time.I used a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter to measure the water from the tap vs. the water from the filter. THEY WERE THE SAME. These filters appear to do nothing!To the reviewer who cut one open posted a photo, he said he saw carbon. Well, I would suggest he go to the manufacturer's website and see that there should be three different layers inside a genuine PUR filter, Including a layer of what looks like beach sand.Since I need to find some genuine PUR filters, I don't presently have one to cut open. Time permitting, I will cut open one of each and post photos of the fakes vs the real thing.This is more cheap Chinese junk being peddled to the naive American consumer!AMAZON, FIX THIS! This is clearly a violation of PUR's Trademark, it is NOT fair use, it is a Copyright violation when this vendor incorporates all the marketing materials from PUR, even links to the PUR Store on Amazon, and then simply puts in a disclaimer (which few people ever read) which says these are not real PUR filters! This is also CONSUMER FRAUD, False Advertising, & Mail Fraud (if shipped via the USPS). And Amazon is an accessory to these crimes since they are not policing their vendor pages and passively allowing their consumers to be defrauded.
