This robotic cat is great - meowing and purring and moving. We bought it for my mother who has advanced dementia - she loves it (she thinks its real) and she holds it for hours. It is very therapeutic for dementia sufferers (its enjoyable for non-dementia sufferers as well!

Bought this for my mum who has vascular dementia, I also bought a little basket in case she didn't accept it in the beginning. But the care home tell me that she absolutely adores the little cat, petting it on her lap as it purrs and meow's for more attention whilst brushing with the little brush that comes with it.If you have someone in the family who is suffering with dementia or anxiety issues this is the perfect gift, you will be so pleased you did. This has really helped my mum become calm and content.Worth every penny. If I could give it more stars I would!!

I got this for my dad who has Alzheimer’s. It has been a massive success. He truly engages with the ‘cat’....some of his care workers have used the word obsessed!. He believes it to be real & talks to it constantly, as he had stopped communicating with people this is wonderful to see.I was initially concerned with the robotic noise when it moves would distress him but my dad doesn’t notice.I don’t know how long the battery will last, but he has had it 1 month, takes it everywhere & the original ones are still ok.My dad is quite far along with his dementia but he now has something to love & talk to in his care home, so I’m very happy with the product, worth every penny

I bought this for my elderly brother who has dementia and loves my cats so he really relates to this one who looks like his old cat. The only fault is the clicking noise when it moves, but as my brother is deaf in one ear it doesn't seem to make a difference.

This beautiful Silver cat now named Beauty, is a joy. My loved one has Alzheimer's and beauty gives him great calming pleasure.It's just an adorable little addition to our household , thank you.Only one thing I would say is wish it's little pads were softer and not plastic. Apart from that, the silver cat is perfect. Love it x

The batteries seemed flat when I received it and I put in new ones which worked. When I tested the factory batteries they were fine, so I can only presume the factory had put them in the wrong order. Otherwise product good.n

A gift for my 88yr old MIL. It’s been amazing to watch the transformation this product has brought into her life. Since Christmas there is a noticeable improvement in her mood. She is in an assisted living facility and she enjoys walking with “Nee How” resting on her walker. As the cat goes through his remarkably life like motions others arrive at the first Meow they start up conversation and interaction that was missing before. Thanks for such a life enriching product. She told me, “You know, i find I talk to her a lot”. Best elderly gift ever for your family and friends who always had animals but can no longer care for a live animal.

This is amazing. I’m a Speech Pathologist and work with patients with dementia. I bought this cat hoping for some positive results and was rewarded almost immediately. I opened the box and played with him for a bit to see what’s what and was taken aback by how calming he made ME feel! Had to curtail the impulse to offer him something to eat. One patient now has his own kitty “Tom” as family quickly ordered one after seeing the bond and reduction in anxiety. I definitely recommend this cat and will buy another. This is a quality product, and while it won’t inspire everyone ( offered it to a patient who never liked cats or dogs..no go), the benefits for others can be immense. FYI I always introduce him as a “kitty robot” and not a real cat. The patients take it from there. 6/5 stars!

Bought for my 88 yr old mom -- she loves having the 'companionship' without the work :) Soft fur, great variety of sounds, motions. This does not walk or anything, but head does move as do mouth and eyes. So very glad we found this!
