This cane is well constructed one piece so.id wood, nice shape and strong to hold me up. This is a rich looking cane and easy to walk with.

I placed my order a few weeks before having surgery. It was shipped very quickly from the Ukraine and was waiting when I returned from the hospital.This stick is the real deal. It is solid but weighs less than you might think. I requested the maximum length (39 inches). The ball fits my hand well and allows the stick to move easily. The strap has a very cool skull on it, and my daughter found out that the bearded jaw of the skull opens and closes. "There is something very metal about that skull, dad!"I cannot recommend this walking stick enough, but if you really want to get this stick and feel well equipped and prepared for life in the city, I recommend you also buy "Fighting Irish: The Art of Irish Stick Fighting" (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/1986974073?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). This stick is fully capable of serving the same role as a shillelagh.

Looks Great. But this is not a walking stick, it's a baseball bat. To thick and heavy. Not like in the picture. Under the handle ball it is so thick. Cannot grip the ball well, no place to hold on with the fingers. The shaft is also way to thick. This is a pure weapon not a walking stick. Plz forgive but another waste of money for me in retirement. Cannot return it or I would. Very different from the picture. Just got the tree trunk today. The more I try to use it the more I utterly dislike it. The hand ball is to wide, and the shaft thickness needs to be cut in half, also the finish is to smooth. I am 6' 1" with large hands.But the tree trunk looks gorgeous.

This came earlier than I had expected, by about perhaps 3 weeks, from Ukraine no less. The craftsmanship is wonderful. Made from a single piece, I can tell this is crafted with great care and appreciation for the wood. Asterom should be proud of their work. They have earned it, and then some. This walking stick makes me look better and compliments the Ukrainian Flag tattoo I had gotten soon after the war began. I had wanted to go and fight side by side with Ukrainian soldiers, but my wife and 3 back surgeries talked me out of going. I'm proud of Asterom for the work they do in support of all their fellow Ukrainian citizens and I could not recommend them more highly.

Does the job.

Nice walking stick, nice round handle fits well in my hand. Fairly light but the grain is straight and appears solid with no cracks. Hopefully won’t need it for more than walking. Would like to see it made out of Hickory or Maple even with increased costs.
