Added this super to an existing hive from same maker (which is still going strong after 2 years). We don't handle the hive much, but all elements sturdily constructed & bees are happy.

Frames are well put together and box is sturdy! Needed in a pinch. Works great!

Decent box for the price. Includes frames and plastic foundation but I recommend adding more wax to them.

I bought these 8 frame to see if it was easier to handle and it is. It doesn't weigh as much as a 10 frame when full which makes it easy to pick up

I like how the corners of the box are notched together. I would have scored it 2.5 - but could not do 2. My challenge is that it was 7/8" too wide. If would have fit the frames properly, it would be a solid 5. My plan is to plane a piece of pine to fill that space. Another option would be perfectly space the frames to allow the comb to be drawn out more. Too much space causes mischief because they will fill it up! Otherwise, looks like a well built box. Won't send back. If they can fix it going forward, I'll get more. Good price.
