It works. That is all you need.
I have to ask my husband to take this (usually 2) a few times a month before bed or I am not able to sleep in my bedroom.It seems to work well within 30 minutes.

I go through periods when I must have this medication, so I keep a couple boxes on hand at all times to make sure I don’t run out. I sometimes have to take more than recommended (not saying to do that, consult with your doctor first), but it always provides relief, typically sooner rather than later. I get gas that feels like shoulder or back pain, and I’m so thankful to have this medicine. Strange detail: if you burp after taking this medicine it has a mint flavor 🤷♀️ anyway, this medication really works. Highly recommend!

Ask your Dr if this is a good fit for your heartburn or GERD and baddddd gas that doesn't escape your body by itself this keeps me from doubling over
