Garador Garage Door Handles & Locks (ZA Series Lock)

The original lock was 30 years old and jamming regularly.The replacement was identical, fitting was easy and it works perfectly.An genuine original Garador part (exactly the same) is £60.00 the only difference is it is in a plastic bag!!

Initially didn’t unlock fully but Richard sent a new one promptly. The square shank of the bolts supplied are a bit too big for my old door. A fiddly job getting to the nuts, a small spanner would be the answer (mine weren’t available….) also another pair of hands make fitting easier as they can push bolts through while you hold lock in-situ. At a 10th of the price of a replacement lock from Garador you can’t go wrong 😃.

Great when working, at first no issues a few days after the lock refused to turn so we were unable to lock the garage. We took the lock off and then it would turn in our hands so refitted the part. This has happened 5 times during the month and now I cannot be bothered to keep fighting with the lock. Was hoping to find a way of getting in contact to sort this out but no way of contacting the buiness.

Arrived well packed and on time as promised. Easy to fit, although the square shoulders on the supplied bolts were larger than the original ones, so the holes had to be enlarged slightly, however I am very pleased with this purchase.

The lock fitted fine . When I went to lock it it just stayed locked and never to be reopened.I removed the lock from the Garage door and tried to unlock it just stayed locked .Very Poor Quality.Straight in the bin.
