iZtouch IZSP-012 Black + 10ft Black Extension DC Power Cable (2016 version)

Initially rated this a four but cannot in good conscience rate this anything but a five. The most serious problems as mentioned below, like the time being off for example, have been found due to using a low quality Micro SD card. The time problem resolved with a better quality Micro SD Card. This camera is very good for the price. Pretty much cell phone and tablet oriented but there is a PC desktop Device Viewer that works but with some limitations, like with some of the controls like IR that do not work. You can also record from the desktop Device Viewer but there is no audio on the playback. The very nice up side to this camera compared to some of the competition is remote viewing & how it uses a Micro SD card to record & playback. A 16 G card can record 24/7 for about 1 week before it starts to overwrite previous days. The camera works quite good most the time but sometimes the clock time is off & has to be reset, like many electronic devices, it helps the over all performance if you reboot or turn off/on the cam about once per day. The remote viewing & playback is very good but only if you have a 4g signal. Does not work on 3g, it will tell you your camera is offline. Very happy this works on my Fire 8 HD which saves a lot on the cell phone data usage.

My first IP camera so I have no terms of comparison, but damn it I expected the thing to work as advertised. I read a bunch of good reviews but now I realize I read a bunch of advertising crap. The software is the worst, a lot of misspelled words (moidfy is the only I remember) I don't think I saw this ever in an app. The app itself keeps crashing and when it works I get "connecting timeout" 9 times out of 10 ... I already reset the unit twice and keep trying to make it work but at this point I'm very disappointed, I promise to get back with updates if I realize I was doing something wrong.Update Jun 6 2016After the initial setup which was anoying and buggy the app works well, no more conection timeout or other inconvieniences. Basically it does what it's supposed to but I can't give it more than 2 stars, it fells more like a toy than a security cam, could be usefull as a baby monitor maybe. The cons:Low image quality. It says HD but I couldn't recognize a friend from 10 feet awayNo zoom option, no autofocus. The app has the buttons but cam won't react.No 3rd party apps. I have a server that can work with hundreds of IP cams, I could not set this neither under generic using manual setup, it just won't work.No noise cancellation. The static is very loud, if a person comes within 10 feet talking I can't understand a word.Update Aug 2017 - I left this in a box for a year now as I moved ... now I spent 10 hours trying to setup and it will not work ..I'm frustrated to a max, is really not worth buying it !!!

Had to return it. Spent over an hour trying to get the app to load on my android with JUST MY EMAIL!! The app kept insisting my email (of 17 years) was incorrect. I then tried to download the app on to my iphone, which worked! Until.... I tried to get the app to find the camera. The camera comes with very poorly written instructions and has several misspelled words and phrases that make it hard to interpret and install. I finally had to give up AFTER the app began working because then.... it began telling me CAMERA IS OFFLINE!!! When the camera was clearly operational and power and USB Cable plugged in.Needless to say, I returned it today.

I can't access this using a browser but can work it with the app. The iPhone app is relatively straight-forward to setup, but it's a challenge to change any advanced settings. I also find it to be temperamental and difficult to connect at times. The app is JUST AWFUL and is loaded with Chinese translation typos and is not that intuitive. Picture is okay and sound is nice. Pan/tilt is a nice feature, but it only moves in preset increments, and only one increment at a time with a button push. If you want to move any substantial amount you have to tap the button repeatedly. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER.

The app on the phone isnt really clear and it often says unable to connect but for the price I paid it works great and if I keep using the app it works fine. It is easy to hear what is going on using the app but the camera volume isnt as loud. Good for a baby camera and monitor especially for my husband who works away. I also used it as a home security to check on my house while I am away and it works fine. It is worth the price but not much more.

its a great tilt pan camera for the price got my first one 3 yrs ago and its still working perfectly

Not what I expected, but it's ok. Good shape, nice and smooth movement.CON: you cannot record on demand. And move detection recording not working at all. Other than that: good quality video (not 720p).

Easy to move around and view room. Picture is okay. I bought this to watch my baby at night and it keeps going offline and picture freezes - No matter how good wifi signal is . The screen froze for 20 mins and I thought my baby was sleeping but she was actually crawling around in the dark crying!!
