This is fantastic - I've bought 4. I wore out my first and replaced it after 3 ½ years, bought one for my wife, and bought this one for my new iPhone X. I've loved this case. Beware that there are other sellers trying to pass cheap knock-offs as the real deal. I bought one, and it fell apart pretty quickly. There are some complaints that the leather case won't close all the way. When you take it out of the box, it will ALMOST close all the way. When you load it with your ID and a few credit cards (I have 3 in the slots, and another 5 cards in the pocket), it will take a while to stretch and adapt. Just like leather shoes. After a while, It adjusts to what you have in it and closes just fine. The leather is first rate - soft but sturdy, with a great feel. The cut out on the back for the camera and flash is pretty unobtrusive, but it does hurt the illusion of it being a tiny book. I've dropped it many times in this case, and, while it doesn't warranty any damage, it has done a great job of protecting my phones. I get compliments on the look of it all the time, especially when I pretend it's a tiny book. Highly recommended.

Ist nun schon meine 3 Handy Hülle Typ Book Book. Hatte sie beim iPhone 5S, 8 und jetzt XS. Bin total zu Frieden damit und kaufe sie nur noch!!!Es gibt keine bessere Handy Hülle...

I could tell this was a quality product the moment I took it out of the box. The strong smell of premium leather was a clear indication that the Journal was the real deal. After having this product for a few weeks now, I love it just as much as the moment I first opened it. As I mentioned the quality of the leather is top notch, smooth and durable. It is a very handsome wallet. It easily holds four cards without issue (I even had five in there for awhile but it made it difficult pulling out my ID card). One last thing about the leather, I accidentally got paint on it and was able to wipe it off, 12 hours after the fact, and you would never know that it was there.You would think that with the leather wallet portion being so high quality Twelve South would have been tempted to cut corners on the plastic case portion, but they didn't. The case holds my Iphone X Securely and has a durable feel to it. I know that if I were to drop my phone, it would be protected from the fall. The buttons respond well when pressed and the vibrate switch is easily accessible.I'm very happy that I switched to the folio type of phone case/wallet. It has seamlessly solved the issue of having too many things in my pocket.I can't recommend this folio enough. I am thoroughly impressed with this product and will be looking at Twelve South first for any time I need a case to protect my electronics.
