Q: What are the pros and cons with a narrow v. wide. I have never used a zester like this and am not sure which to get. Any help? Thanks.

The Deiss PRO lemon zester is 1and 1/2” wide. On lemons and oranges I can easily see the fruit as I zest so I don’t go over the same place. I like that the zest is smaller and finer than what you get with a larger grater.

Q: Is this made in Germany or China. I see two different answers

Is made in China and not good quality. I bought one and it only lasted two month. I used it to zest lemon and grate parmesano cheese almost daily and it gave out. Not intended to be use in a professional kitchen. Save your money and go with Microplane brand.

Q: What are the measurements for each size of these items?

It’s HUGE, that’s what the measurements are! Good grief! Partially my fault, as I didn’t check the dimensions. I just assumed it would be a small and normal zester! Believe me, it is NOT! Nothing “normal sized” about it! I’m not quite sure what to do with it, or whether or not I should even keep it. Not AT ALL what I was expecting! I’m also amazed that no one is mentioning how huge sized it is! Lol!
