Oblanc Surround Sound 5.1, 8 30mm Drivers Gaming Headset w/ Microphone USB Connectivity PC Black OG-AUD63065

I have had this headset for about a month now, and it has been the most enjoyable listening experience that I have had from a set of headphones/headset. The sounds are crisp and clear with more volume than I will ever need. The construction is sturdy, and for such a large headset, they feel surprisingly light and comfortable. I can use them for hours at a time with no discomfort. I am not a hardcore gamer(I actually only have a couple of games I play regularly), I use them primarily for music and movies. It is wonderful to have the experience of immersive surround sound at high volume without a ton of wires and speakers scattered about, and no complaints from neighbors. The only minor complaint I have is that the vibration subwoofers seem a little stronger on the right side, but it doesn't take away from my sheer enjoyment. But I do wish there was a way to control the left/right balance of the subwoofer channel. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product, and I have recommended it to everyone I know. Thank you Oblanc, I LOVE this headset! To get the most out of music, I suggest finding surround encoded FLAC or AAC files. There are programs available that allow you to re-encode Mp3's into surround files. Warning: Surround FLACs and AACs take up a LOT of hard drive space....UPDATE: Still have no complaints on sound quality, but I discovered build quality is not that great. Unless you remove them from your head carefully, they are prone to crack on the headband. Mine have cracked on both sides of the headband, which really hurt the fit. Gonna have to remove a star for build quality....

Real surround sound, unlike all the others that are advertised as surround but have only one audio source per ear, they are stereo and can not produce any surround at all. I have logitek 930s which only reproduce sound to left or right and not front or rear. To have surround there has to physical distance between sound sources front (left center and right), side left and right (7.1), rear left and right (5.1 & 7.1). There are also different audio for each sound source (6 for 5.1 and 8 for 7.1) the subwoofer is omnidirectional due to wave length. When you have two audio sources (stereo) it is impossible to have anything like surround sound. What I did was to use the logitek 930 and have my bud select the various surround sound sources on the machine out of my sight and tell him what source he had selected which I could not. The only effect I could hear was when the surround was toggled off and on and that effect was to use an echo to give the illusion of depth. If surround only required to have two speakers I would not require the 8 I have been using for my 7.1 home set up.

Subwoofer was hissing when there was no sound playing originally but after I spent several days with them they stopped and I haven't noticed it anymore.These aren't the greatest headphones out there but the beat the crap out of the speakers on my monitor.There is a moment when you boot up your favorite game for the first time with a pair of surround sound headphones and all of a sudden you hear so many sound effects you've never heard before.It is a glorious moment.Only small issue I have with these is microphone on the side is about a inch too short for me but otherwise these are fine.

Horrible comfort, sound quality, microphone and software. I have smaller ears for a 6' male, but these would not allow my entire ear into the "cup", my ears felt like they were being pinched. the head band is lacking enough padding. The whole thing felt tight against my head and no adjustment helped. Maybe could go 20min without taking them off.Even with hours of adjustment, it sounded like I was in an echo chamber Software felt like it was created in the 1990s.Could not get the mic to work at all...yes it wasn't muted.Back to my Logitech g35s I guess.

pro: sound is good. sub-woofer is powerfulcon: not really comfortable for long time use. cable is short. huge background noise.

Terrible Drivers, interferes with current drivers for my machine and the audio will cut and or freeze your entire computer giving you a bluescreen. Headphones sound good but are not comfortable what so ever.

To say the least, i have these headphones and the beats. These are much better than the beats. Additionally, i can use them to game and skype with friends.

el audio en estos audifonos me facina, ya los he comprado 2 veces, pero, al menos para los que tenemos la cabeza "grande" no se los recomendaria ya que la diadema es de plastico y conforme al colocarlo a la cabeza a los pocos semanas se agrieta y se cae. pero no dejan de ser buenos en calidad de audio. otra cosa que decir esque en las ocaciones lso he encontrado en un mas que excelente bajo precio conforme a otros de su misma categoria de headset 5.1 ó 7.1 canales.

Pretty standard, surround wasn't exceptional.Built for Win 7, no drivers for Win 10.
