As of now after a week of wearing, the closure works well, the shoes are wide enough, and they hold the shape. Could be better thicker sole for longevity.

for my entire life I have had difficulty finding shoes that fit. my shoe size is an average 12-13 but my foot width is somewhere in the order of 10Es ! This is made all but impossible to buy shoes. And for the last 6 months to a year I did not wear anything on my feet all except badly fitting flip-flops. I founnd these and gave them a try and much to my surprise they fit ! ! ! ! not the most stylish things for sure. But if you have swollen feet or exceptionally wide feet or just weird feet these will do the trick And keep you from walking in the dirt.

Boot:I can't maneuver my foot down the throat of a boot, this boot with lots of velcro openings looked like an answer. I had it in my cart a long time before purchase. It is absolutely possible to open up entirely to put on and it seems warm. They are very light-the sole is soft, light, spongy plastic of some kind. The bottom is not a sticky kind of sole that grabs the floor constantly. It's also not slippery, though I haven't tried it in wet conditions.Cons: the boot is really wider, maybe 1/2", than the typical wide shoe at the toe box. I'll have plenty of room for thick boot socks in there. The velcro panels behind the boot's heel are super stiff making that area want to remain flat and wide. There is no arch support or anything at all like that in the boot. It's sort of an ugg that you can velcro into, if that makes sense. The velcro is grabby and the areas of velcro are large making them a bit of a effort to pull apart.Shoes:I got the ones with two velcro straps across the instep and one velcro strap at the heel. These fit well and are easy to put on. I love they can be readjusted over the day as needed and there's enough velcro for a wide range of fits. I got the women's 9 and they were better for me than the boot which I bought in a 10. I am a 9.5 wide wide size normally. The look isn't too orthopedic to my eye. It just looks like a double mary jane shoe to me.important note: I can't walk much so cannot attest to long walks in these shoes. The shoe has more arch support than the boot and I suspect it would be OK, but can't test that out.

My legs and feet (due to an injury) are wrapped in 5 layers of compression bandages making it impossible to wear shoes. The shoes that they sold me at therapy to go over casts were too bulky, did not flex when I walked and basically were very uncomfortable. My therapist suggested I Google Diabetic Slippers and I did and found these. They fit perfectly and I was able to go outside again. So glad she suggested this and it worked out for me. They run wide so they were able to fit over the bandages.

I will return the shoesfor a larger size.

As someone who has one foot that swells more than the other, find any kind of footwear is a real challenge. This one is great. With the adjustments for the heel (I have a narrow heel) and for the foot (wide foot with high instep), I can adjust this to fit whether my foot is swelling or not.My only complaint is that you need to be careful if you get the sole wet because it will slip. I'm not talking about pool wet, but just almost normal dampness. I would really like to see the manufacturers improve the sole to be more non-slip.In spite of that, I love them. They fit which is a major miracle. I would buy another pair.

Liked the 2 adjustable Velcro straps across the foot and the adjustable velcro tabs across the back of ankle to ensure a comfortable fit.

I am a size 8, and because the consensus stated that the shoes ran small I ordered a size 9 wide. The item fit me close to perfect. I use socks because i am diabetic. The Velcro strips are great and I feel secure using these shoes. They sole do not get stuck on tile and are not slippery. Great pair of shoes!

Fits adequate. I bought these shoes for dad (elderly). Dad at first said they fitted loose (the size i selected was the right size) but he is still wearing them so they can't be that bad.
