It's felt, but it's really shiny! I needed a material to absorb light (hood for my tablet) and this is not the stuff. Should have gotten velvet, or better yet gone to a store and look at the material in person. Live and learn.For all other purposes I think it will work well.

It's felt, it's black, and it works well for crafting things that need to absorb light (eg. removing reflections in a webcam).My only complaint is that every single sheet comes with a branding sticker attached, which was annoying to remove, and frankly each sticker slightly damaged the felt during removal.

A little thicker than I was expecting. Still will do the job.

Rainbow Classic Felt black. I buy these in white and black to do my embroidery machine stitch outs to have samples for customers to see.I order them by the packwhat am I supposed to do with 1?

As advertised. These are great for a multitude of projects. So far I've used them as padding in drawers, holsters, and the base of chess pieces. Also pretty good for covering up the places on projects where you screwed up.

No complaints. Good price and product. I use them for woodworking projects. Now, if I can just find a good way to cleanly cut them in straight lines.

Purchased this item at a price that was comperable but not a deal to the price of the same felt in the store..... Until it showed up and instead of 24 sheets of felt it was only one. What a super over priced piece of felt

perfect for my needle felting projects... both to integrate with wool and to use as a back drop or cover for my foam work area.
