I had an old set of powered computer speakers that had RCA leads & ordered this to be able use them with Bluetooth & my phone in a little reading nook for some background music. The unit connects easy to my phone and works well with the old speakers and saved them from going to a landfill. Ordered another unit to use with an old stereo setup in my shop to be able to play music from an old iPhone now being used as an iPod.

It works well! The only thing is that the speakers do not have as much volume as it did with the stereo system. I expected that might be the case.

Perfect device for turning an old surround sound system in a blue tooth capable device. The sound is clear and crisp, just like having it hooked to the TV or DVD player!! Easy to connect with my phone and easy to install.

NO LAG! yes that’s right! No lag and it remembers connections and never turns off. I have this for an old stereo system and now i use it on my phone and laptop and tv! Aslong as you disconnect from one device you can easily connect another one without having to go back to it. This exactly what i needed. Best part is it two 1 minute to set up. Super easy. And no loud announcements saying paired or disconnected! Great sizing too. I haven’t tested how far you can be but i have been atleast 20ft away and it still worked flawlessly. Dont think about it, BUY IT!

1. It's very easy to connect, re-connect and operate. (Some brands are more difficult than others.)2. It sounds great!3. The range is excellent!4. You'll wish that you had bought one sooner!5. If you have a lot of Bluetooth devices, like I do, you know how some are harder to connect to, than others. It often feels like you're fighting something, that shouldn't be so difficult, or inconsistent, to connect with. This receiver connects right away, on the first try, every single time. I'm an EE, by profession. I'm very comfortable with technology, and it's not often that a product impresses me this much. Bluetooth has been around, for a long time, and you should NOT have to struggle with it, just to connect to it. If you've ever felt this way, and worry that this is just another one of those devices, fear not, my friend. This device won't give you these problems. It's not often that I come back and update a review, but this receiver has impressed me enough, that I felt compelled to provide an update. I rely on reviews, just like everyone else, when deciding what to purchase. I also appreciate it, when people give updates, as well. It's easy to be happy about something, right after you buy it, but when you're still happy, after months have gone by, that really means something. And yes, as stated in my earlier review, I did purchase a second one. I took it to my sister's house, installed it on her stereo, and she's also very happy with it. Hopefully, this review will help this product stand out, among the many other choices available. Let the music play!

This little device works perfectly for upgrading old wired speakers with Bluetooth! The setup was super easy—just plug it in, pair it with my phone, and start streaming. The sound quality is excellent with no noticeable lag, and the connection range is impressive. I love that it automatically reconnects to my phone every time I turn it on.
