Realistic, Loud, Funny and Fun
Prepare yourself: it's quite realistic. It would work well for scaring mom.The plastic bug is hard, so try not to step on it. When turned on, it moves quickly, making quite a racket, which can actually be helpful when playing with your pet. Try throwing it in a box, or under a sheet of paper, to change the play experience.

Important part is that they play with it
The media could not be loaded. First off, battery life is terrible. I submitted a video it's about five minutes long. Prior to taking video, I ran the bug for about 10 minutes. You can see the battery is dying pretty quick. I'm ok with the fact that all it does is run in circles, which is a major complaint of other reviewers. However, what I don't like is the short battery life. The positive side, is at least the cats play with it. You can see once I turn it off they become a little bit more engaged and really get after it (or at least my alpha cat does).

Realistic-looking, not realistic-moving
It vibrated in a circle, that's all. The cat didn't care about it at all. But it is a pretty realistic-looking cockroach.

Fun toy
My cat enjoys playing with this and it looks like a real cockroach. My only complaint is that it only goes round and round in a circle.

Quality was very poor, it did not move well very slow and jarring motion....unrealistic. So disappointed!

My cat prefers the real ones.
I bought this after my cat through a fit after I flushed a real one (Where I live any house can get roaches and having exterminators spray your house is almost a must out here if you do not want to risk an infestation for even the cleanest of houses) The toy came in and did everything it says so long as it's on something other than carpet, however my cat seemed very skittish of the toy when I turned it on. She was interested and scared at the same time. The toy emits a noise of electric toothbrush or a small shaver, it's not loud but it is noisy.In the end it's like any toy, not for every cat. Maybe coat it heavily in catnip or something.
