A perfect book for your tutu wearing pre-schooler!
We first purchased this book a few years ago when our oldest daughter was about 3 1/2 years old and she would wear a tutu EVERY day to school, shopping, etc. She often looked "silly" (just like Tilly in the book) but she was happy and she loved the idea of being a ballerina. This book perfectly captured the intensity of her desire to dress how she wanted. It really was a precious time in her childhood. We even framed an illustration out of the book and have it up on her bedroom wall because it so wonderfully captured who she was during those pre-school years. I wear my Tutu Everywhere is a great book for all those pre-school wanna-be ballerinas. We read it many times over and highly recommend it!

Love it
This was one of my favorite books as a kid. My Mom kept it and I now read it to my two daughters. They love it so much, that I’ve gifted two of these books to friends kids. It’s such a sweet story.

A must have!
My twins LOVE this book! The pictures are very sweet and vintage. The wording is simple and easy for them to repeat at 2.5. I find them saying “I wear my tutu everywhere” all the time! Adorable book. Wish it came in a hardback version for us to keep longer. This book came bent from Amazon though. I wish Amazon would package their paperback books better.

Period. As a kid is obsessed with the illustrations and love this book! We should bring back wearing tutus as adults!

Very cute!
This is a very cute book. I wanted a little gift (other than flowers) to give to my 5 year old granddaughter after her dance recital and I thought this filled the bill nicely. She hasn't really commented on it - everything was a little chaotic that day - but I thought it was really cute - so I was pleased to give it to her and it commemorates the day.

Cute book for a ballerina loving niece
My niece is kind of obsessed with ballerinas at the moment and when I saw this book I couldn't pass it up. It is a cute story of a girl who gets a tutu and wants to wear it wherever she goes, even if it causes a little bit of inconvenience. When it gets ripped, she decides that maybe tutus are good to wear sometimes, but the rest of the time play clothes are a good idea and more comfortable. It's a cute tale of a little girl that is sure to resonate with the little girls in your life.

Great for little ballet lovers
This book is about a little girl who loves her tutu so much, she wants to wear it everywhere, until she damages it on the playground. Then Mom takes her to a ballet class. It's a wonderful read. My 3 year old granddaughter loves it.

perfect message for those constant tutu-wearers!
I got this for my niece because she insists on only wearing leotards and dance dresses. I had no idea until I read it, that the lesson it is trying to teach is that Tutu's are best for wearing while you are doing ballet, but other clothes are better for other things. Ie. play clothes for activity's, dresses for parties, jammies for sleeping, etc.I don't know how it was received by my niece, but the message in the book is clear but done in a very cute and likeable way.
