Ineffective for Virus-Related Purposes, Good for Cycling through Mosquitoes
This mask appears to have been thought up with the right principles in mind, but not thought out in terms of how to implement them. It's a great idea: make a washable, reusable mask of comfortable cloth that still provides somewhat effective protection, and construct the mask with a pocket that allows the use of filters that are lighter in weight than a kn95 mask, use less material, are much less expensive, but are as effective at blocking particles. Ultimately, if mask use is here for the long term, that design will have staying power as an effective, comfortable, inexpensive solution that produces less plastic waste. It's too bad this one doesn't come up to the mark. Here are the problems:1) The material, 95% cotton, 5% X-STATIC nylon, is really a light knit, such as one might find in a cotton jersey, so open that one can easily see light through the mesh. This is the least effective kind of cloth for masks intended to block small particles, providing almost no protection at all, either for the wearer or from the wearer (the real reason people should be wearing masks). The antimicrobial silver treatment in the X-STATIC is effective in preventing various pathogenic organisms, bacteria for the most part, from growing in the fabric, reducing its tendency to develop an odor and, if you're susceptible, as I am, its support for skin infections. I've used t-shirts and underwear made from this kind of material under the gear I wear for cross country motorcycle trips. It works quite well, and the treatment lasts many washings. It almost certainly does not make any difference in the effectiveness of this mask, as the fabric alone won't stop anything, and the treatment's actual purpose is for something entirely different. It will, however, help keep the mask from causing skin breakouts, so it does have value in that regard, assuming the nylon is distributed enough to keep the cotton from supporting microorganisms.2) The mask comes with filters, and has a pocket for them, however, the filters and pocket don't integrate well, so it hard, maybe impossible, to be sure you're breathing through the filter, and, again, that's the only way this mask can accomplish its task. The filters, if they're composed as claimed, may be effective, although they are very thin. What you really want is a spun polyester that requires the air to travel a circuitous route through the fibers, which carry a charge and attract (or repel) particles, trapping them as the gas molecules continue past. The filters seem to work as I breathe through them, and they appear to be have the right composition, sandwiching a layer of spun polyester between blown cotton (or something else soft and breathable), but I have no way of analyzing them except by visual inspection.3) The moldable nosepiece bends to conform to the bridge of the nose, but because the filter pocket doesn't extend underneath it (assuming you could manage to be sure the filter were in place there, a doubtful bet), air passes through the jersey mesh below and around it, both in and out. There's no way to fix this problem unless you inhale strongly enough to get the filter to press against your face and create something of a seal. Of course, the first air you inhaled to begin the process would have been unfiltered and gone most deeply into your lungs...All in all, I think this mask is wholly inadequate in preventing the wearer from exhaling microorganisms into the environment, the primary purpose a mask serves in terms of preventing the spread of COVID-19, and of no value at all in protecting the wearer from same. It would definitely work to prevent mosquitoes from getting into your nose and mouth on a bike or motorcycle ride without impeding breathing (that open mesh), better than a bandana or Respro mask (I've used both), so I'll have a use for it for that. The filters, if you can find a better mask with a well designed pocket, might actually be good for the purpose, so they're worth considering if you have a use for that sort of thing. As for the mask, the money would be better spent on beer.

Hard to go back once you use this mask!
Great fit and material is soft and cozy against the skin. Best mask I’ve found. Love the adjustable nose band that keeps my eyeglasses from fogging up and the adjustable ear loops which makes sure it stays snug against my face without bending my ear like so many others. It’s great knowing this mask filters so well — gives me confidence that not only am I complying with CDC regulations, but also, I know I have maximum protection for myself and others! Once you wear this with these filters, it’s hard to go back to any other.

Fits well. nose bridge was present.
Fits well. nose bridge was present. I agree documentation could be better. Says Filters are lab tested. To what criteria PM2.5 ?

Nose bridge - may not be present
Pictures show a nose bridge to help with fit, but text does not say either way.Posted a question (twice) and since no answers were provided, it won't list.Since seller clearly had the ability to respond and hasn't, I'm taking that as a "no."

Made in Sri Lanka / Machine Wash "Cold" / Questionable filtering
Label on mine says "Made in Sri Lanka", and "Machine Wash Cold". Nothing against the former, except that "Made in USA" is widely touted on the product page here. And "Machine Wash Cold" doesn't match with the CDC recommendations to wash warm between uses. The mask fits well, but the fabric is not woven tightly at all, and the filter inserts are difficult to wedge in, and can shift, so that the breathing air is likely to pass around rather than through.Bottom line, if you are wearing a mask just to fake it, this is certainly a comfortable one to use. But if you are wearing a mask to protect yourself and others, then I wouldn't recommend this product.

Comfortable
Nicer to wear than most I have tried. Yes, there is a metal nose bridge - a little on the weak side, but it is there and helps. It is large and covers most of my face and chin

Don't bother!
Review by Mrs. K. Lockwood, not J. Lockwood: I am really sorry I bothered to buy this. The metal piece for a better fit at the bridge of the nose can be shaped for that area, but the rest of the metal was riding up practically into my eye sockets. Scared I'd be injured or even blinded if I tripped -- or started to sneeze, since I have allergies. (Allergy is why I hide indoors most of the time, so I don't freak out my neighbors and make them think I'm one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse -- w/o a horse, but you know which one I mean.) OK, seriously, the fabric was so loosely woven and semi-abrasive/unpleasant feeling that I'd consider it to be a poor choice even for socks! I won't even go into the filter issue, since others have covered that. BTW, I have a relatively small face, medium nose and hgh, relatively flat cheekbones ( mostly N. European features), so others might get a better fit w/ less chance of an eye injury, but I'm not goiing to wear this thing. One suggestion iI can make for others is to use flash tape or medical tape to help keep the mask in place. A pain if you need to take it off to eat, of course. It also occurred to me that if washed in hot water instead of 'cold, delicate cycle" as directed, it might fit children, but I'd consider removing the metal piece and maybe adding a little elasticr to gather the fabric at the nose area or even hand-sew pleating. Or ... don't bother to buy this thing!

Comfortable, cool and breathable.
This mask is amazing. It's comfortable, covers the face as well as the jawline. Very breathable, passes the lighter test, plus the filters are easy to install and remove. I work in a kitchen and tested this one out tonight, it felt incredible cool to wear, a world of difference from other masks. I've used up to five different types of masks throughout the pandemic and this one is just top notch. It beats the vented masks that you see all over the internet. I bought replacement filters for the vented mask that I've been using at work the same time that I purchased this one. And I feel like those filters are going to go to waste this mask is so comfortable. I also wear glasses and barely had to deal with my glasses fogging up as is the case with nearly every other mask.
