Entry-level Preamp that Gets the Job Done
It's cheap, and it does what it's supposed to...increase the volume signal of your turntable before connecting to your receiver. There's no gain, and it's very simple. It has even made sound slightly warmer as it was very bright connected to my receiver's phono input.

wow factor
I bought this to replace a relatively inexpensive preamp that I got over a year ago. It did the job, but i always thought the sound could be a little better. WELL...spending a lot more money to get this Pro-Ject was worth every red cent. The sound is so much clearer and the bass and treble are so much more defined. I am very happy with the results of this purchase. A great upgrade to my stereo system. Highly recommended.

Great Value on this Pre-amp
This pre-amp really performs, especially given how affordable it is. This is NOT a cheap pre-amp. It is a very good pre-amp at an affordable price. Vendor was great. The item was shipped faster than expected and carefully packed.

Best Phono Preamp At This Price! Just As good as Many Amplifiers Phono Stage in $500 to $1000 range
This Preamp is the best bang for your buck at this price. I bought this for my back up turntable and will be even better with decent stylus's. My backup Turntable used an Audio Technica Carbon 95E and sounded real good....being an entry cartridge....Tried my Ortofon Blue and brought more nuances which is to be expected so this little preamp is a champ.

Simple Phono Fix
It sounds fine, is foolproof to set up and I can now play records through my Sonos system. If you're an audiophile you'll want to spend a bit more to get somewhat more detail and a wider soundstage. My guess is for the vast majority of the buyers of this product smiles will be the end result.
