Broke...literally putting them on the bar
TLDR; One clamp broke literally putting it on the bar for the first time, second clamp broke after the first workout.I purchased these because the clips at my current gym are pretty stripped and I was tired of having to readjust weight mid workout. My plan was to use these for my crossfit and oly workouts, however, that didn’t happen as one of the joint pins popped off PUTTING IT ON THE BAR; not throwing it down, not dropping it from overhead, not even doing a deadlift, literally putting it on the bar.I also want to be perfectly clear, it was a standard Olympic 45lb bar. Nothing funky. So I just put the joint pin back in and continued my workout relatively displeased but whatever it would still function for this workout until I had a chance to return it.I finish my workout which involved snatches and overhead squats and when I go to take the OTHER clamp off at the end I see the locking mechanism has completely snapped off, making it totally unusable. The fact that both broke before and after a single workout gets a one star review from me.

Excellent price! Excellent Quality!
If you are scared that these are inferior because they are literally 1/3 the price of the competition, fear not my future body builder! These things are beast, priced to impress, and the company that sells them does not play around with customer service. As soon as you order them, you will be emailed by their customer service department basically giving out their contact information ready to meet your needs if you have any issues. Me personally, no issues here! These things clamp on nicely to your 2" bar and they come packaged with a cute little travel bag that would even make a professional body builder say "awwww!". Also, the color choices of this product makes for a nice touch.

They broke.
The pair had the clips that are so post to hold the lock in place broke off in 2 sets of lifting weight. as you can see the plastic inside the rubber just broke off. Check your parts because each one broke in the same place (right after locking them in). I do not trust these clamps while I am working out. I had to switch to a different set of grips. I understand that business is about making money but don’t sell s*&^ products like this. If anyone buys these grips do not buy this color at least or try a different brand of clams because it seems like Clout Fitness doesn’t care about quality. Thank you.

Works well, pretty generic but come in fun colors.
I've been using these for several months now (bought in September, reviewing in December). They've worked great so far, and they were cheap. A huge step up from the spring collars I'd been using.I will say I don't think they'd handle much abuse, and I don't know how well they'd hold up to olympic lifts where the barbell is dropped under load frequently. I perform bench, squat, dead, rows, OHP, curls, etc with these. They've held OK on my dumbbell handles when I held them up vertically with a 25 lb plate on one side just to see if the clamps would last; they held on for 20 or so seconds before I got bored and put it down. The real reason it's a 4 instead of a 5 star review is that I don't see anything outstanding about this particular brand/product to stand out from the other myriad plastic lever clamps available (except for the colors available, which I kinda liked-thats why I chose them). They're not exactly heads and shoulders above anything else but they're affordable, they're good, and they come in pretty colors. They are not as stout as the competition grade collars by any stretch, but they're also a fraction of the price.

Broke on first use
Bought two of these for me and my boyfriend, and mine broke on the first use - the plastic pin that holds the two sides together snapped. On both clamps. We didn’t even bother trying his set, lest they break too, because they’re going straight back. I am a 100 pound girl with pretty weak grip strength - I did not force them, and didn’t even notice they’d fallen apart until we found pieces on the floor. Maybe I got a bogus pair? They look identical to the other set. Who knows. Not even worth the low price.

Big upgrade over standard clips
I bought these to replace the standard wire clamps that came with my Olympic weight set. With the wire ones I had to squeeze them together then slide off, and though it was not difficult, they just didn't slide off easily. With how frequently I was changing the plates on my full size bar, curl bar and two dumbbell handles, I thought there had to be a better solution. These are it! I ended up buying 4 sets - one blue for the full size bar and 3 black for the curl & dumbbells. With these you simply lift the latch, and they open wide enough to easily slide on/off the end of the bar. When you press the latch to tighten them down on the bar, it clicks down into position and you can feel that it is on there tight. Inside the unit is a strip of tacky rubber, which prevents any sliding or movement. Time will tell if these hold out for the long term, but after about 6 weeks with them they are great.

Work well
These are secure, there isn't too much give even unlocked and they can be safely stored on the bar, as long as you unlock them and it's in a stable position. I preferred the bright color for safety reasons (need instant visual reminder that the bar is safe.) The mechanism is pretty tight at first (and still is) but that is probably a good thing, just be sure to use it cautiously the first time so you don't accidentally pull or push the wrong way.I think the big issue with any weight collars is durability so maybe I'll update in the future.

Broke on first use
The small black thing that pops out broke off the first time I snapped it on my barbell. These clamps are also very hard to snap on and off..
