Q: How grippy are these for city users? Looking for something for wet pavement/sidewalks/train station tiles.

Pretty good I would say. I actually used them for running in the winther on trails but they do have a good grip on most surfaces incl wet stones etc. So for the purpose you ask I would say spot on. Consider the version with Gore-Tex if for winther use

If you buy the GTX version then yes.
