Gustave Le Bon, The Crowd and The Psychology of Revolution Paperback – May 14, 2015

Despite being written in 1895, the ideas in this book resonate today. The language is a bit dated, but the book goes a long way in describing the psychology that is apparently operating with mobs in Portland and elsewhere.

Gustave's work on the psychology of the masses and evolution of society is very poignant. In reading his chronicle I became aware that we are subject to the same forces that created the excesses in revolutionary France. We are exhibiting the same behaviors in our current society and will probably end in the same way. History repeats itself...

The only thing that ruined my reading experience was the orgnization of the text in the book.

Very insightful book. However, this printing doesn't have a full index. Where the index is supposed to be there are just lists of words with no page references. Also, this printing doesn't have correct top and bottom margins. Still, it is readable and the content is good.
