Bought on prime day, the price was excellent I got a bargain and the quality, appearance and firmness is exactly what I expect from Slumberland.This mattress is a good thickness and very comfortable with just the right firmness. Expensive compared to some brands but definitely worth the price.

This is indeed a firm mattress, the firmest I've owned, but it is as comfortable as ever I could have expected, given that I bought it for the almost-austere firmness that this high density of pocket springs delivers. It has given me the best nights of sleep and the least joint and back pain on waking that I have had for four years (that being 2/3 of the the time passsed since I had bought my previous retailer-branded pocket-sprung double mattress brand new).I am only 5' 2" tall and obviously old enough to have retired some years ago, so it was disappointing that delivery of the new double-mattress to the required room (an upstairs bedroom ) was not volunteered on the day, although that service is included in the price. I had firmly to ask the seemingly-reluctant 2-person team to do that for me, which they then did quite speedily after one of them had to ask his colleague to get out of their van help him.It seems a pity that the customer (me) has to remove and dispose of any old superseded mattress, there being no option to add this service at a price at check-out. This is the first time that I've bought so heavy an item from a vendor which doesn't offer 'removal and disposal' as an option at a price. I paid my local Council a further approximately 10% of the purchase price of the mattress to do that, after I'd dragged the mattress to the landing's balcony rail, tipped it so that it fell down through the stairwell into the hallway, and dragged it to the front door.Nonetheless, I am very pleased that I bought this mattress.

For some reason I cannot attach photos, but will keep trying: Dirty patches on top, side and tep-end, presumably where they allowed the corner of the mattress to sit in a puddle.So it is soaking wet in one corner and dirty. We prob won't be able to get it completely clean, but hoping it will dry out in a day or two without issue.Was expecting delivery to room of choice as I have arthritis in my wrists, hands, knees and ankle; but they refused becauae we had pictures going up the stairs....we would have moved them.With the help of two of our children we managed to get it up the stairs 1 step at a time with me using my shoulder and legs to lift....it is quite heavy, and more floppy than I expected.All deliver issues aside this mattress is super comfy. Instantly made my back, neck and legs feel properly supported and I literally cannot wait to sleep tonight....might even try it without a pillow it is so comfy.

Easy delivery. Left in bedroom. Heavy so I'm glad I didn't need to do much to get it in situ. Very firm compared to our last mattress but getting used to it after a couple of weeks. Good price as offer was on at time of purchase.

The only negative thing for me is that there are no handles on the mattress. BUT it's a really good quality mattress and it has helped massively with my back problem!Recommended!

I've purchased two mattresses for my bed over the past eight years but this time I decided to splash out and buy a mattress that cost just under £550, rather than the £200 or so I paid for the previous ones. Wow, what a difference!This new mattress is the heaviest I've ever come across; it is fairly 'firm', it is extraordinarily thick and it's absolutely fabulous to lay on. The two guys who delivered it couldn't have been more helpful (thank you Arrow!) and carried it into the main bedroom for us.My wife has some back pains and sciatica but it's as though this mattress has some kind of mystical healing properties that weren't mentioned within the description; her pain levels have clearly dropped. The most I can give this mattress is five stars and it's worth every one of them!

The mattress is good, will be even better if it can come with handles around, for easier moving.

So comfy.Supportive yet yielding, like your life partner should be. But cheaper than them.Heavy though. Properly heavy. Not for camping trips.
