Gibson Home Rockaway Round Dinnerware, Service for 4 (16pcs), Grey/Gold Rim

I didn't want to spend a fortune on dishes, so I found these, and liked the look of them. Simple, unassuming plate ware. The box arrived on time, and was taped over as if it had ripped or something in transit. I expected to find some broken dishes, but was glad to see they were all safe and sound. Packaged very securely inside with carboard padding between each plate and bowl. The color is lovely! I purchased the "cream" color. It is a very soft beige and I love it. They are pretty thick plates and bowls with good solid weight to them. The are not flimsy at all. I did notice on the plates that although I try to be gentle, I see some light black marks where my fork scraped over the plate? Nothing that bothers me though. I recommend these.

I bought these dishes in the blue color, and this color doesn't show any utensil marks like some reviewers commented on the cream color. I love the dishes. The dinner plates are ample in size and the bowls hold at least 2 cups (kinda big, so I put salads in mine - a scoop of ice cream would look dwarfed in the bottom of these generous bowls, so you better put 2 scoops in!). The dessert plates are normal-sized. The dishes are substantial in weight - I've ungracefully knocked them around a bit and they don't seem to chip. I'm super happy with these dishes.

Love the color of the set. They are microwavable safe and they truly feel just like stone but smooth. someone bought me the set as a wedding gift and I loved it so much that I bought a second set.

These are absolutely stunning dishes. They're a great weight, the texture is lovely, and they're simple and elegant. I love them so much.Updating after a few months of use. These are all scuffed up from silverware. They have silver lines all over them that do not wash off. Structurally, they're holding up well, with no chips or cracks, but they're not as pretty as they once were.

We love this set. It feels nice and looks so good! Gorgeous shape and color. I bought the set of 4 and wish I had purchased two. The small plates are perfect for a little salad or snack while large plates suit a large full meal. Bowls are plenty big not not oversized. I’d recommend anytime! So far no cracks or chips despite some bumping while loading/unloading the dishwasher.

This is a great dish set that has held up to years of use without issues. The color is a really nice, soft teal and I like the feel of the dishes. There are some scratch marks from use, but I would still recommend the set.

these bowls and plates are great. sturdy, feels high quality, holds up in dishwasher.
