Nevados Men's Mesa Mid Hiking Boot

I would buy these again just on my first impressions and the fit and feel so far. I inspected them carefully on receipt due to some of the negative reviews - I was impressed that they appear to be well-made and with no flaws I could detect. I ordered my normal size, a 9.5 taking into account that I can wear from a 9 to a 10 just depending on how different manufacturers size their boots. They fit my feet well and comfortably with both a medium-weight and a lighter-weight sock even though my feet run a bit wide. I have some other insoles I had planned to use but the ones that came with the boots work just fine so far - no slippage whatsoever. The laces they came with hold a knot well and are just right, not too thick or too thin.If these hold up they represent a great value. After several months I'll update the review.

My husband used these boots for work, INSIDE a store. First the shoelaces kept getting cut by the lace holder, went through 2 pairs so then he got tired of replacing so he bought these ugly leather laces and had to remove the sharp lace holder. Then the shoe started falling apart at the toe area on both boots/shoes. We have tried to reglue and repair with glue and rubber bands! Looks like we are going to have to buy a whole new pair. 4 months is absurd short time. We want a REFUND!

The boots are good, however the insoles are not firmly attached to the boot. after a day of walking they move a lot inside the shoe which is not comfortable because you have to stop every now and then to accommodate them; if not you get blisters. my expectations were higher on these boots. now I understand why should i have spend a little more on a more well known brand.I had to glue the insoles to solve my problem, now i have to try them again.

Just getting into hiking and didn't want to spend too much on hiking shoes in case I didn't want to continue. For the price I think these are a really good deal based on the construction and wear so far. I did go a 1/2 a size larger based on other reviews and very glad I did. The extra 1/2 fits very comfortably on my feet.

Wife got these for a gift to me. Great hikers with tough, rugged soles and look nice. The only thing I was not impressed with was the interior cushion for foot. It was literally thin piece of nothing, that made my feet very sore after wearing for only a few hrs. Therefore, I put in a store bought insert and now they are providing shock absorbing support and feel much better on the feet.Update: after only 3 months they are coming apart at the seams. Somewhat poor quality manufacture, I would not recommend these if you actually do go hiking.

These boots really look high quality. I couldn't be more wrong. Bought them for my husband to be used for work and recreation. The suede started pulling away within 3 weeks so we super glued it back in place- then the other one started to pull apart! He also started having low back pain and finally figured out that it happened within a few days of wearing these boots. They seem like a good price for a reason. You get what you pay for

Three months of light hiking and one shoelace eyelet has come off, both places are warm through to core fibers at each eyelet, toe box on both shoes are separating from the sole. You get what you pay for and Nevados definitely represent that concept. Would not by again.

Very good product and we'll made.The price was low and I was a bit nervous,but was happy to find that they will do just fine.For bumping around,I didn't want tp pay $90 plus just to beat up...I will order a few more in the future.I would recommend these for sure
