Not for terry towling socks
I had already bought the sock helper with ropes which did not work as i have terry towling socks and they would mot stretch enough to go over it,this one took me 20 minutes to work out how to usw as instructions were not helpful,in the end i watched a you tube vide of sim model, this does work with terry towling socks but you have to roll them up a certain way and even then doesnt always work,i was left in a lot of pain as my left sock wouldnt go on properly and i had to bend to pull i up as the extension handle you get is next to useless,it may be a good idea if you have bending restrictions like me then buy this then buy thin cotton socks that will work with this and that is what i am now going to do,this makes this item very expensive,£8.99 for this item and about £20 to £30 for new socks, now i have new puma ctton socks this item works extremely well although it does take a bit of practice

Worthy of 5*
This is a great piece of kit although the instructions are a waste of paper.I saw a YouTube video on how to use it and after a few goes I soon got the hang of it.The long piece of plastic is just to hook it up off the floor I guess or else there is no reason to have it,Worth 5 stars.👍🏼

Ease of use
Does as expected.

Impossible to Use
The diagram isn't very clear but you can sort of figure it out, except for where the show horn is meant to come in. However, it's supposed to make it easier to put socks on but you still have to put it on the floor and lean down, by which point if you can do that, you can put your socks on anyway. Complete waste of money - you waste more energy trying to use this pointless contraption than you do without it.

Geart aid for mobility impaired
This is really just what the Doctor ordered. I need hips replacing and bending is a no-no. Putting on an taking off socks has been made so much easier. Just be careful when putting the 2 screws in very easy to overtighten. Money well spent

Helpful but bulky
It comes with a pack of 2 screws but nowhere to use themVery awkward to get the right angle and I still need a bit of help to get socks pulled up. There's a long horn/ handle but again it's awkward to use

A Godsend.
The best gadget if you have any difficulty putting on socks. Very easy to use and helps with independence.
