Great for the price
The lights are pretty. It scrolls through the colors during regular use. When you change the DPI it briefly flashes the color representing the DPI setting. There is no way to turn off the lights or set the color - it just cycles through.Plug-and-play worked flawlessly. The feeling of the design took me a couple of days to get accustomed to, but it feels comfortable now.The scroll wheel is very smooth and works as you would expect it to.Since a lot of people ask, the button next to the left click is a double-click button, as far as I can tell. You can use it to double-click icons or highlight a single word of text.I was really surprised by the quality of the sheathing on the cord. It is sort of a weaved fabric sheath that makes the cord feel really durable. I can't believe they didn't mention that in the product description. It seems like it will extend the life of the mouse considerably, since bent/broken cords are a common problem in cheaper mouses.I do wish it was a little heavier. I also wish the cord was a little longer. The only issue I have had with it is that every time I take my hand off the mouse for a few seconds, and then move the mouse again, there is about half a second where it doesn't respond at all to being moved. It's definitely noticeable, but hasn't caused any real problems for me so far. It also does not feel as precise as it should at high DPI settings in games (Firefall, at least) - sometimes it feels under-responsive or slow, and other times it's slightly jumpy and moves too far. It's just a mild irritation, but for $14 I can't complain too much.Overall, the mouse is great, especially for the price. It's not quite a high-end gaming mouse, but it's better than a regular 3-button standard mouse, and the switchable DPI is nice to have.

READ FOR DETAILS, NOT A GOOD MOUSE!
I bought this mouse for the price, ultimately. I had a Logitech G300 that a friend gave me that I used for some time before it started to give out on me, so I looked into a new one. I found this mouse and liked that it was inexpensive. I read the reviews and decided that for the price it was a good deal: I mean, 7 buttons with 3200 DPI and it lit up? AWESOME! Not so much... I got the mouse today and while I was aware that the LEDs had no way to keep them the same color (they switch after approx 3-4 seconds) I was fine with that. What I wasn't fine with, was that there was no software (anyway: not in the package, not online, nothing) to allow for button settings. What I also didn't like was that they included both left and right-click as a part of the button count as well as the scroll wheel. There are two buttons on the side (a front and back button), one in the center (DPI switch), one just to the left of the left-click button (which serves as the SAME EXACT FUNCTION AS LEFT-CLICK!!! BEWARE OF THIS!!!!) and of course the scroll wheel located on top as well. While you CAN program the buttons in whatever game you are playing, there aren't a lot of options to select from if you plan on using Hot Keys for various things. AGAIN: I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH, TWO BUTTONS SERVE AS THE LEFT-CLICK FUNCTION, COMPLETELY USELESS IF USING HOTKEYS! Anyway, if you need a mouse for a comfortable feel and to look pretty for a low price, this mouse is a good fit. However, if you actually want functionality, AVOID!

I'm amazed at how cheap this was.
This thing is, not mincing any words, phenominal. The design, as well as being asthetically pleasing, fits perfectly into the palm of your hand, and the grips allow for precise movement and aiming in games. I showed this to a friend of mine, and he was worried at me for a moment, worried that I had spent like 50 - 60 dollars on a gaming mouse, and his surprise was obvious when I told him it was just 10 dollars.Something in particular I enjoy about this mouse is the DPI button on top, which changes the mouse sensitivity on the fly, and the mouse lights up depending on what speed it's at. On a ranking of 1 to 4, 4 being the fastest speed setting, 1 = Red, 2 = Green (my default), 3 = Blue. and 4 = White.I love this mouse, and it's amazingly cheap. You should get it if you've got the spare cash.

Doesn't slide well and can't click well
I had a CM Storm Spawn before my cat bit through the cord. I bought this one as a cheap alternative and it's pretty nice.I have to say it doesn't glide very well over my SteelSeries 4HD Professional Gaming Mouse Pad. So I ripped off the teflon feet from my CM Storm spawn and stuck it on this mouse. Now it glides nicely!Another issue is it's difficult to click things. I play Dota and LoL and it takes WAY too much effort to click, it really impedes the way I play the game...So I'll be returning it. On to the next mouse!

Great gaming mouse for the price. Recommended! 5/5
This mouse is excellent for the price. I was a little sceptical at first on whether or not it would be a good mouse for gaming, but it's actually a really good mouse. It goes up to 3,200DPI (Dots per inch) which is great for FPS games, and other games that demand higher DPI. I love how you can use the side buttons to go forward and backwards on internet pages really fast. It helps you navigate through the web much faster. The LEDS are pretty bright, and they look great! Only thing is they DO change about every 5 seconds, and so far from what I have seen you can't change that. But, all in all I would say this is a great mouse, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good gaming mouse/mouse that's cheap, but reliable.

Disappointed that you can't select the color
Disappointed that you can't select the color. The mouse takes about half a second from the time you start moving it, until it response, after it has been sitting still for about a minute. Not good when you are playing a First Person Stealth game, and you need immediate response. Okay for use with the First Person Shooters I play. Okay for general use. It also doesn't remember your setting when you turn off your computer and turn it back on. So, you will need to reset the DPI each time.

Problems after 3-4 months
Ordered in the beginning of July 2014 and the middle mouse button tends to double click and sometimes doesn't work at all. Also the bottom parts that rub against the mouse pad constantly get full of gunk no matter what mouse pad I use and clean. I have to constantly wipe the bottom of it when in the middle of a game when it starts to feel slow when sliding. But it feels nice on my hand.-Lazy Reviewer
