WiserElectron Protective Housing Case Open Side with Lens and Skeleton Backdoor for Gopro Hero 4 3+ Camera

Excellent product and fits extremely well. Great way to mount the camera in a vehicle while being able to run power to it and still keep it mostly protected. Even with a USB cable plugged in, you could maintain some water resistance easily with a liberal application of electrical tape. Had to exercise the buttons first time, because one of them was activating the camera button constantly without me touching it. I would give it 5 stars if you could remove/replace the port/memory card cover without removing the camera from the case.

This case did it's job. Took a spill and thought my beater gopro3 was busted. I was wrong it's 100% working fine. Have the replacement case next to it in photo. I chose the non waterproof version so I can connect an external battery for all day riding. I mainly use it for liability and maybe an explanation of how I died while riding my Sherman Veteran Electric Unicycle.

No problems with the fit. However, on the particular unit I received, the side button that activates the camera's WiFi seems a little off... I really have to jam it down hard to get it to activate the camera button... much more so than on my original GoPro housing. But it does work. This is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

I didn't need the waterproof version (although I have one anyway) as this one allows me to plug in my GoPro to my TV, computer or charger without having to open it up and pull the camera out. Keeps the GoPro protected. It also allows the built in mic to be exposed and not covered like the waterproof case does. It keeps the audio quality good and not muffled like its inside a can. Very convenient. A must have for GoPro users.

This is exactly what I needed. It protects the GoPro from damage but allows access to the charging and HDMI ports. It is not waterproof but it does protect the camera while allowing access to the ports and the touchscreen.

This is a good product. It is still my default case for my GoPro Hero 4. I could easily charge through the side and take videos all at the same time. It does not interfere with audio recording. The case is durable.

Received it with scratches on the lens. Keep in mind this is not waterproof

I bought this case to work with my GoPro Hero 3+ with the backpak. Whereas this product fits my camera nicely, and I was aware that it came from an open touch back door for a camera WITHOUT the backpak, I assumed that (like every other GoPro clone product out there) that it would work with the backpak cover door for my 3+ which I already had. WRONG! The form factors don't align and this product is therefore useless to me. I will be returning the product and continue my search for an open-side case including a backpak door for my Hero 3+.
