Awesome Beast!

Look if you think this is some polished show piece then go buy something else. But if you want a tool that will get the job done...this should be your top choice. I have ordered the Ontario Knife/Ka-Bar/Condor...etc. I ordered 5 different Khukris and this hands down is legit. They are made from old leaf springs trust me that is hard enough for a blade. I chop/split/shave wood with this thing. Remember this is a tool so it is crude but let me tell you this could win any knife fight. Just saying this thing is a beast! This was purchased for my daughter and she loves it. Get survival knife, I suggest some youtube videos to learn how to use this properly...and not the ones with the idiots trying cut tomatoes with it.

very unimpressed....

For the price point I thought this khukri would be a great value but after receiving the 1st blade I quickly noticed that the blade was badly canted to the left, so I returned that for a replacement. The second blade I received came with a very uneven grind and a crooked blade running almost a zig zag across the spine and the cutting edge. I have up and just put it on a shelf as a decoration.

Heavy duty blade with large grip

Nice knife needs to be sharpened before use not razor sharp when shipped. This is a heavy duty blade with large grip (I wear XL gloves) that fits my hand nicely.

Buy this blade!!

Amazing for the price, very authentic feel, splendid purchase!

Only buy if your hands are freakishly large

Handle is absolutely massive, to the point of not being functional. This is not an EGKH kukri. Returned.

Wow

Purchased this from another vendor, but wish I saw this first because it is $20 cheaper for the same blade. This is a beast. Heavy, powerful, and came amazingly sharp. This is like a small machete, but it is very thick and strong at the spine and could be used like an axe. The only thing I would caution with buying this particular Khukri with the finger guard is that the grooves for the fingers are meant for fairly large hands. My hands are on the larger side of medium and the finger grooves are just a little too far apart to hold with real comfort, and this could be an issue with heavy use. If you are on the fence about getting an AEOF Khukri, don't be. It's the real deal.UPDATE 8/29/18I decided to address the issue of the finger grooves being too far apart by leaving the first finger groove as it was and then using a grinder to grind down the others. Now, it's perfect. Still sharp as a razor too after all this time.
