For display mirroring mode, WIFI is not reuqired if you only want to display content from your phone / tablet / latop. For casting mode, 2.4G WiFi is required. Bluetooth is not supported. 2. useless piece of crap
I can't believe this is the Amazon 'Recommended' mirroring solution. The set up is VERY complicated and took forever. Instruction manual sucks. AND this thing creates its own WIFI network (and requires the password to yours) just so you can use their app, on your phone, and display (mirror) the contents of that app on your TV. This is not what I would consider mirroring your screen. What a joke.

Stops working after awhile
This worked great when we first got it, but now I can't get it to connect at all.

Choppy Image
I tried to use this but it did not work for me. The image quality was poor and lagged behind. This may be due to having a slower internet connection. I would not suggest using with satellite internet or on a hotspot.

Doesn’t work
Connected once, wasn’t able to see a clear picture or open any apps without phone closing out, when I tried to restart it wouldn’t connect. Returned immediately.

Works
Watched YouTube video for setup and Connected to iPhone, Android Tablet and home WiFi just fine. Using mostly on my extra monitor with tablet to free up my computer.

The device G9 Plus is not working
The device came to me today. The G9 Plus, shows light on but shows nothing on screen, it doesn't even connect to the monitor. I followed the user manual instructions but nothing happened. Then I tried to press the device button, but stills nothing going on the screen. I also tried to connect on 2 different monitors, but nothing is working. The device is broke? Have some other ways to make it work? Someone could help me?
