Great Coffee
this is a great coffee, it is a mixture of Robusto and Arabica Beans. Low acid, great flavor and a caffeine kick to keep you going. The beans are freshly roasted and still retain some of the coffee oil. I have purchased several 2.2 kilo bags.

Person from Starbucks-land loves these beans.
I'm not a barista or coffee expert but I can say that this coffee arrived quickly and tastes great. In fact I am enjoying a cup as I write this review. I hand grind my beans and use a french press. I find these beans have a nice full medium rich flavor. They aren't oily and blend nicely with flavored coffee creamers. I will definitely buy again.

Good Guatemalan coffee
I like the Guatemalan coffee as it is less acidic than other coffees. I liked the flavor and smell. I found Two Volcanos to taste better and be less expensive than coffees in my local area.

Just won our home coffee-contest!
The coffee we loved went out of business. We did a coffee-off between Two Volcanoes and two other high-end, organic brands and the verdict is in. Two Volcanoes is the one. We like a deep, rich flavor without the bitterness the other two brands had. We drink massive Americanos and this coffee stood up to our challenge. Not watery at all! It is more expensive than our old coffee but we think it's well worth the flavor. Now mornings are back to normal! I am literally writing this review so that this company stays in business. :)

Consuming With Pleasure
Some will say that I have given most everything 5 stars and that is correct because I read other reviews before I purchase on Amazon and make my own judgement after that. I have not purchased a "bad" coffee from Amazon. This one may become my new favorite! It is dark and aromatic and works well in my automatics and barista style. It may be a little "oily" for some but does not clog my grinders. I have ordered more to check the consistency and will report back if that changes. The bag has an expiration date of November of next year. No problem as it will be gone in 2 weeks!!!

This is a really good coffee at the current price point (~$28 for 2lbs
This is a really good coffee at the current price point (~$28 for 2lbs.). It's all arabica coffee so the caffeine content is not as overwhelming as some similar blends that contain a portion of robusta beans. These beans work great in my semi-automatic espresso machine but they're quite oily so those with super-automatics take note. Looking forward to trying some of the other products offered from this company.EDIT: May have spoken too early in regard to the 100% arabica content as I haven't been able to verify this. It doesn't appear to have any/much robusta content but I can't prove it.

OK, with some help.
Prone to a burnt taste and bitter aftertaste. We noticed when repackaging with a vacuum sealer, the burnt taste becomes stronger. We added an activated charcoal capsule which got rid of the burnt taste along with allowing the beans to breath before and after grinding. We love the Two Volcanoes Nicaraguan varieties and prefer them to this product,

I have been searching for the best organic, dark roast coffee for the past year
I have been searching for the best organic, dark roast coffee for the past year. When I tried Two Volcanoes Espresso I thought my search was over, but sadly, I don't believe the organic part is true. I think the article I read that lead me to this company did not do enough research (Top 10: Best Organic Coffee Brands For Coffee Connoisseurs). Being that here was no certified USDA Organic label should have been my first clue. The flavor of the coffee alone is worth every bit of five stars. So, if you are not concerned about things like 'Organic' or 'Fair-Trade' I would highly recommend this coffee, but for me, I will have to move on.
