Decent Frame, Best Suited for Mattress ONLY.
Not too difficult for me to assembly by myself. (With a bad back too.) Took me maybe one hour or so to assemble. It looks good. Overall it's decent for the price. And I didn't have to worry about how to get a whole, assembled bed frame inside my tiny house & bedroom. This bed frame is best suited for a mattress ONLY, like a memory foam mattress.Been sleeping on it maybe a couple months now. No squeaks or screeches or sounds of metal on metal. Feels studier than it looks, perhaps. We'll see how long it'll last. So, you can use it with a box spring IF you really want to, but be warned that your bed will sit WAY up high if using a box spring AND mattress together... and you'll probably need a step stool (or 12ft ladder) to get in & out of bed.The bottom is not a solid platform, it's a lot of slats a few inches apart. If your worried your mattress will get indentations from or squeeze through the (rounded) slats, I'd suggest covering them with a large piece of plywood. Or splurge on a "slat cover" or similar sold on Amazon. I'd skip the box spring altogether.I had to experiment with several different mattress/box spring/mattress topper combinations before I found the right balance of comfort vs ease of getting in & out of bed. Ended up buying a 10 inch "hybrid" mattress (springs and memory foam) which sat at a good height for the frame, but needed a topper of some kind. My old mattress was just too tall as is. I ultimately ended up using the 10" mattress with a 5" topper. That's 15 inches (obv) from bed frame to top of mattress. And I need a step stool to get in & out of bed. (I'm 5'8".) And my sheets don't stretch enough to cover the entire 15", but it's still lower than the "headboard" and I'm now comfortable as hell with this combo. Plus my bedspread covers the sides of the mattress. So if you're considering this frame, keep the math in mind for how tall your bed will be with mattress height, plus any mattress topper. Again, I'd advise skipping the box spring altogether.

Attractive, easy to assemble bed...with a few cons
I researched SEVERAL beds before deciding on this one. I’d had my previous bed frame for ten years (a black iron bed from ikea), and I wasn’t sure that I wanted a similar bed again. Our ikea bed broke a few years ago and was the squeakiest, most annoying bed, but I still loved it.This bed has a lot of pro’s: easy to assemble, attractive, high enough for way more storage than I imagined, a little bit higher than our old bed (good for my husband’s back, but we also have a 12 in mattress), and again, attractive. It also has some cons, though: the headboard is on the low side, and our first night on it (last night)- I bumped my head against it several times. The side support beams in the middle are also very attractive to bare toes, and I have stubbed my toes on both sides twice now while making the bed. Lastly, some of the paint chipped off while I was assembling it, which is pretty dumb. Not a huge deal, but you know it is brand new.Bottom line for now though, NO SQUEAKING. I’m giving it 4 stars, and I have already said a few times that I wish I’d just gotten another ikea one, but we’re giving it a shot. Worse comes to worse, we can use it as a guest bed.

Nice, but not sturdy
I liked the bed frame, until one of the legs bent. Now I'm just waiting for it to break off, so that I can see if the bed will hold up. If not I'll have to but a whole new bed frame

Nice bed, could improve in craftsmanship. Overall nice style and sturdy. Good for the price.
Great looking bed but the craftsmanship is a bit low quality. You can’t really tell once assembled.

Set up took longer than expected
Good for our guest room. You do need to add the extra partnto help the mattress from sliding.

Good Decent Bedframe
I am trying to find a bed frame for my renters. I want it to be easy to assemble, easy to dis-assemble and not so pricy. I am also finding a one that is equipped with the headboard, which will look like a "real bed". Then I find this bed frame, it only takes me about 45 mins to make it like this. It has protection pad under so it won't damage my hard floor. It's also easy to clean as well. Now I am ready to put the mattress on, and everything will be all set. I like it.

Fake reviews for a mediocre product
The views for this product are fake, even when it says 'verified purchase'. This bedframe does NOT take 5-10 minutes to put together. It requires two people, a few hours, and doesn't come together as easily as one would hope or expect from the reviews. My biggest gripe: the space between the metal slats is way too wide. A box spring or something similar is necessary to prevent mattress sagging. And that defeats the whole point of a platform bed. And lastly bedframe is queen, and the bed guards don't hold a queen sized mattress. Will go back to purchasing Zinus brand bed frame with with slats. This was an expensive mistake.

Exactly what I was looking for, great for the price!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price. This bed is actually really nice, very sturdy, doesn’t shake or make noise. I put a 10” Memory foam Serta mattress on it, and I love it. I love the old farm house look, fits in exactly with the look and feel I wanted. Bought a second one for my spare bedroom. The only negative is that during shipping the box gets badly banged up and some tears, I was worried, but everything was ok.
