Bought to go on the side of a desk that's about 5cm thick, it has a little more wiggle room but maybe not 6cm if you have a desk thicker than that. Very sturdy when screwed in place with the hand screw.Has nice little wire tidies on the sides of the rest, seen as little cut outs when unfolded, helps to keep wires in one easy to access area but still watch out for dangling wires if they're long.Not sure what price you're supposed to pay for something like this but it didn't seem overly high.The holder has a nice bit of silicone where the headset can hang from not sure what it's for but the headset probably doesn't mind having a soft seat I guess.Can be folded up when not holding the headset or wires, and affixes to the top so it doesn't just droop off if shaken very easy to undo.

I already have one of these. Due to a desk change I needed another. This is a great item, fits out of the way and is super useful. I have recommended it to colleagues.

Pros.Well machined.Rubber is very grippy even though I've installed it in the "sideway" format. No obvious slippage.Bottom and front padding on the "hook" looks like it should keep the headphones safe from scratchesClamp (rather than sticky pad) means it can be moved to other areas of the desk and there's no desk mess.Comes with spare screws and an allen key.Cons.Screws that attach hook piece to the attachment piece are a millimetre too long and extrude beyond the rear surface. That means they will scratch or indent your desk edge if you're not careful when you tighten them. Either nudge the device just a touch proud of the surface or as I did, put some sort of soft felt pad over the protruding screws.I think this was the better choice over a free-standing plasticky and tippy stand.

My old headphone holder broke, so I went in search for a new one and came across this. At just over £10 (At time of review) using a coupon I thought why not and I'm glad I did.The construction is all aluminium apart from the knob and there are silicone pads to protect your desk. You only need to attach it finger tight and it stays solidly in place, there is no need to ram it up and risk stripping the thread as it is Aluminium.This is smaller than I expected but that could be because my old one was mahoosive. You can mount it vertical like I have so it attached to the desk top, or you can remove 2 small screws and fix it the other way around on the leg of the desk. They supply the Allen key to do this and also 2 spare screws should you lose them as they are quite small.It does the job and can be folded up out of the way should you ever need to do so, I probably won't as it is now a permanent fixture. Really pleased with the holder and with the solid construction it should last a long time.Highly recommended if you are in the market for one.

The media could not be loaded. Well this product was about a tenner so was not expecting the best just a flimsy headphone holder like all the rest well i was wrong and got it so twisted this thing is like billet metal solid as in stupidly strong you could hang of it the way it folds up and clicks into place when not in use is just premium ive had many of these over the years cheap ones aswell as exspensive ones and this little badboy is the elite holder out of all of them want an honest review here it is if this is what you need leave the 5 pound ones alone made of cheap tacky plasric and go for this one you wont be dissapointed for real brilliant gadget

Does exactly what you'd expect it to do. It holds headphones or other headphone shaped items. It's a solid unit, seems to be built very well, you can fold the holder up when not in use. Personally I would prefer a solid piece of metal instead of one with a hinge but it's a minor issue. Well worth the money.
