It is more sturdy than I thought
I thought it would break after a few uses when I first received it, but it has held up well. It seems so lightweight that it would break, but it is still in new condition after about fifty uses.

Works great on my 150 ft aluminum hose
Was worried at first it couldn't handle my 150 ft aluminum hose but it did easily. Worth buying. Makes life a lot easier. Makes it easy to handle the hose itself.

no real assembly required
This is a very good garden hose real for the cost. It is a little light weight, but works fine when you step on the place made for your foot to increase stability.

Sturdy and easy to use.
I like the item because you can wind it up with the handle. It keeps the water hose rolled up and looks tidy and you don’t have to do it by hand.

Too soon to tell
The Suncast 175D Hosemobile comes already assembled out of the box. It is designed like the old version of the Suncast that I had for 7 years, with one noticeable exception. The 175D version is smaller and narrower than the old with approximately 10.5” between the ends of the hose reel versus 14” for the earlier version. The result is the 175D reel is hard pressed to hold 150 feet of hose of 0.5” diameter. The other problem with the 175D are the seals in the hose that connect the Suncast to the outdoor faucet. There was water leakage at both the faucet end and at the Suncast end where the short connecting hose must be threaded onto the plastic hose connection. To remedy the leaking, I had either to add an additional rubber seal to the inside of the hose head or remove the existing seal and then add a new rubber seal to the hose head. At the present time, I can only give the 175D a rating of “3”. If the Suncast lasts more than 3 years, I would change the rating to a “4”. If the Suncast breaks within 3 years, I would lower the rating to a “2”. Interestingly, the old Suncast that I had for 7 years eventually broke in the center of the reel, presumably from the long-term weight of the 150 feet of hose.

Works well for longer hoses
Easy to put together, instructions are clear, lightweight, easy to maneuver. I have not yet figured out how to stop the crank from turning when I am winding the hose so it doesn't unwind, but it's a very nice, efficient piece of equipment and my hose is happy.
