No frills "power strip" - recommended for your expensive audio gear for great sound!
Built in surge protection. Did some research online and decided I couldn't go wrong with this. Great investment. More expensive models for even better results available through the same seller.Equally awesome is the customer support. Thank you for stepping in and calling Fedex to get my package delivered.

Great with Linn and Naim audio equipment
This power strip provides significant audible improvements with Linn and Naim Audio. I have had one for 20 plus years, and it still is working well. I purchased from Basil Audio. Very nice high end organization..

Clean electricity to my component.
I liked this item so much that I ordered a second one. This gives full power to all outlets.

Well made and purpose built
Great choice when you don't need a power switch (which without a guard as on most strips is more of a hazard than a help). Also, it has no semi-useless passive components (especially inductors in series with the power) for noise suppression that can sometimes do more harm than good. Rugged construction and heavy gauge wire is all I need.

An audiophile power strip
This strip is a known budget “tweak” for audiophiles. It is a very neutral sounding power strip with high quality construction and sockets. I have had no noise or other issues. The cost is dramatically less than other audiophile brands, and it supposedly sounds better than most as well.

Very high quality parts. The 9 outlets in a compact unit, at a reasonable price, is just what I was looking for to power my stereo system.

Its expensive...but in the right setting, it is very well worth it.
So, you can get power strips for a fraction of the price. AND they come with 'surge suppression' too. So why does getting a power strip with less features cost so much more?Well, if you are looking to plug a few lights and your various device chargers, or even a desktop then you are probably better off with the more conventional and much cheaper alternatives. But if you are using this as a power distribution device for a good audio or AV system then this can actually offer pretty good value for money. I have used several of these in the past, including a pair hard-wired into the circuit box that supplied power for a six-power amp audio system and its various sources, active crossover and preamp. What I can say is that plugging the devices into this power strip was a definite improvement over the expensive array of 8 PS Audio power ports I had coming off the breaker box, in terms of clarity and subjective lower noise levels. The construction is very sturdy, and the sockets grip the plugs with a reassuring tight bite. There is no chance of one or more plugs accidentally falling out due to tension or motion. In a way this works so well because of what it doesn't have....the surge suppressors in other devices are notorious for causing current limiting as the load for an audio system (that is not Class A) is dynamically variable. There are far more expensive audiophile approved mains strips (I know, I have used some) and this one seems to be the best value for money. Some people have even had these units deep cryo treated and allege further improvements.
