GOBGOD Parking Brake Bypass for Alpine Video and Navigation Models Video Module Bypass Car Audio and Video Harness

First off, want to start by saying the next day shipping due to amazon fulfillment was fantastic, the instructions were clear but in my case I had one extra wire in the end but the by pass works flawlessly you wouldn’t even know it’s there and that’s what I wanted. Not sure why some left negative reviews I’m no wiring wizz but this was simple and there was an email provided for customer service if needed. I didn’t but it’s nice to know.

Used on ILX-W650. Takes care of the settings issue without tapping into the parking brake. Didn't use one of the wires in my application. Sorry, I forgot which one. Just know that you won't use one on the W650 install.

Jumped in my truck today, and the bypass stopped working. Pulled the Alpine w650 to check connections, and everything was solid. Working one minute, and then not seems to be an issue with the bypass. Everything else on my Alpine works great. Maybe buy a different one

It worked as it should. I've seen others that had matching wires for Alpine so that it would be easier to tell which goes where but other than that, excellent product. Directions are simple. The green wire was not needed in my application. Better than the radio dealer near me who wanted $25!!! I highly recommend it so that you can use all the features of your radio while driving.

Worked great in my 08 jku with the alpine ilx-w650...didn’t use green wire2 year update, still works fine

They work great for about 6 months they you’ll have to replace and when you ask they’ll tell you they have never heard of it happening. But mine have 3 times. Nice to have but everyone I have to pull apart my entire dash. I suggest installing it in the glove box and add the extra wires and billet connectors just because you will have to replace this at least 2 times a year.

Didn’t feel like searching my vehicle for the OEM harness to tape into so I picked up this bypass module. Used it to install the Alpine iLX-W650 and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. Took less than 5 mins to wire up to the radio harness.

I received what I am sure is a used or returned product, the bag was already open, there is black "electrical tape" residue on the ends of the wores that are all different lengths. And missing the cuts in all but the green parking break wire. That is beyond shady and risky considering it's an electrical component. I am returning.
