Oooops! My mistake but these are fine wrenches (spanners) just the same.
Bought this British Standard Whitworth combination spanner set to assist in the restoration of my 1979 Triumph T140 motorcycle. The tool kit arrived quickly and appears to be very high quality. The satin finish is comfortable to hold and offers a modicum of non-slip protection. The wrenches are shipped in a nice toolroll and I'd recommend the set to anyone who really needs the admittedly quirky Whitworth sized tools.Through no fault of the vendor, not the tools, they don't actually fit the hardware on my bike - my fault entirely. The Whitworth sizing on British cars & motorcycles apparently went out of style in the '60s and '70s and today it is rarely used. My understanding is that one place it is still used often is in the fittings for stage lighting. So if you actually need these wrenches, this is a nice set for a very good value and good quality.

Good quality feel but box end wall is a little thicker than desired
Wrench set seems pretty good quality with a nice smooth chrome finish. I purchased these for repairs on a Norton Commando motorcycle. I found the 5/16 box end wall thickness a little too thick to allow the wrench to fit over some of the cylinder head fasteners because it contacted the cylinder head casting. I ground the box end a little thinner and was able to make it work.

Working on an old british whitworth engine Whitworth tools are a real necessity.
While the wrenches fit the nuts and bolts, they are going to have to be ground thin on the box end in order to fit the majority of engine nuts that are around the cylinder and head in tight spaces.

Important to know how Whitworth sizes are determined
Returned the first set of these I received because I didn't understand that the wrench (spanner) sizes are related to the bolt diameter, not the hex head flat to flat dimension used on US wrenches. Sorry Amazon... This is actually a nice set in a soft wrap. Just ordered another set - to keep this time

Whitworth wrenches ! Not sae or metric
Theses are what was needed to work on a '65 triumph t120. Decent quality for the price, seem to fit well with very minimal gap on bolt head!
