The 1994 Ford Van OEM sensor had a slightly larger diameter stem for the vacuum hose than this unit. Since the old hose did not fit tightly on the new unit, I used a couple of zip ties to secure it. This unit is slightly smaller than the OEM but has the same shape. The mounting screws will hold it at the outer extremes of it's range. Location on this van is front-left and very easy to access. You don't have to remove anything else.

I strongly do not recommend this product
The Map sensor ended up not being a problem on my 1994 f-150 but I bought one of these anyway to see if it would help. This MAP sensor made my truck run even worse. After having this MAP sensor on for two weeks it got progressively worse. I had weird whining sounds coming the engine. Anyway, I put the original motorcraft sensor back on and everything is working again. I don’t recommend buying this item

Fixed my truck after way too long!
I couldn't believe that such an inexpensive, easy-to-install part could make such a huge difference in the drivability of my old pickup. I just wish I had done this repair much sooner!

Doesn't work as advertised.
