FEYRE, here is why they sew pockets shut.
I just wanted to give a bit of feedback after reading “Feyre’s” review, who gave 3 stars because the pockets were sewed.MANY expensive jackets, blazers or even slacks have pockets that are sewn shut. The reason for this is so the garment keeps its shape during transit. They can be kept closed, or opened by a simple cut of the thread.So FEYRE, don’t go giving sellers 3 stars because the makers of this inexpensive garment that you bought took an extra ‘thoughtful’ step to keep your garment crisp.

Has pockets but they're sewed shut. There's pockets. But they used extra thread and time... To. Sew. Them. Shut.....Fixed with a razor.
