I do like this... but I also kinda don't.
So... this wallet is a mixed bag. I honestly think it's severely over-engineered. I mean, the metal on this wallet is so thick that I'm pretty sure it could withstand a few close-range shots from a pistol. Fortunately, I don't live in Chicago, so I have no need for that kind of protection. I just need something to hold my credit cards. So in that regard, I just think this thing has too much metal on it. I think they should re-engineer this to make it a lot more streamlined. But kudos for the really really tough wallet.A few other concerns: It WILL hold pretty much as many credit cards as you want to cram into it. THey just get increasingly more difficult to pull out when you need them. You'll also scrape up the two credit cards that are unlucky enough to be against the metal. So I use cheap "loyalty" cards on each end. The leather section has enough room for your ID and your preferred credit card without having to pull out the whole stack. If you DO have to pull a wallet from your main stack, the line could double in size and the store could close in the amount of time it takes to dislodge it from the maw of this wallet. So just be prepared to spend some time digging out that card from the stack that's stuck between two plates of bomb-shelter metal. Oddly, I don't expect the leather to last nearly as long as the rest of the wallet, as it seems very thin and cheap. An odd place to cut corners, considering that's where your two most commonly used cards will be drawn from.On the flipside, it's a nice looking wallet, It keeps cash and cards secure and my sons think they're pretty awesome looking. It definitely fills the toxic masculinity needs we men crave. Sorry ladies. We just do. But I really question it's value AS A WALLET.At the end of the day, I just want something that gives me good quick access to my money stuff. Cards and cash and such. And in this regard, it's only a so-so solution. It takes longer than normal to remove the cards, takes longer than normal to put them back (it's like pressing them into a bear trap), and it's pretty heavy compared to a leather wallet. But it's metal. And I like metal. It's shiny.

Priced appropriately compared to their branded competitor.
First, I cannot recommend a wallet as a great gift idea, because people are generally very particular about their needs with a wallet. I went through 4 different modern wallets before I found one that worked for me. If you are gonna buy a wallet like this as a gift, get the real deal from Dango. For myself, this is a perfectly suitable substitute. I'm all about buying American, in cases where the American made product is competitive. This costs a fraction of the Dango version and I have been perfectly happy with this.I have an RFID badge for access to my place of work. I place my badge inthe outer rubber band space and the card reader can access it. If I place the card anywhere else in the wallet, it cannot be read, assuring me that the other cards I have are secure.

Great wallet.....if
This is a very well made wallet which looks very similar to a higher priced edc wallet. The material is quality and is as advertised. This is an edc wallet that’s perfect....for someone coming from a bifold or trifold. I bought this to replace another edc wallet that was razor thin. This wallet is bulkier for no reason, other than aesthetics. It’s a pleasure to look at, but when you feel the weight and the excess size you realize that it doesn’t add any function to it. If you want a wallet that looks good when you pull it out of your pocket, this is it. But if you’re looking for an edc wallet that disappears when you put it on your pocket and every aspect of it serves a purpose, you may need to look somewhere else.

Essentially the Dango Dapper at half the price.
This is a fantastic everyday carry wallet. My previous wallet was falling apart so I went looking for a new one. I've seen the Dango on sites like MassDrop and Reddit but was hesitant to pay that price tag. At half the cost this one is much more economical and from what I can tell is the exact same thing.

My new favorite minimalist wallet
This might be a knockoff of the pricier Dango Dapper wallet that I was eyeing for a while. I decided to buy this instead based on the generally positive reviews and being much more affordable. I can tell you that It's quite hefty and can only comfortably fit about 9 cards. I'm also a little bit worried about the metal scratching my cards but I can tell you this is a really cool looking wallet. It also looks very durable. Really loving this wallet!

It looks great and functions well.
This is essentially the same as the Dango Dapper wallet at 1/3 the price. I really like the looks, quality and feel of the wallet but there a a couple of shortcomings. You really can't hold more than 6 cards and the silicone strap is sturdy but is dust magnet. It is genuine leather and very light due to the aluminum construction. This is my first tactical wallet and I really like it.

Not what I was looking for
Bought this to have a better slim wallet. Liked the design but the more cards you have the less secure it is. Having more cards pushed out the panel and despite being tight and pretty difficult to get out cards could slide out the bottom. The metal piece that holds the cards will also scratch them up decently. I like thy elastic strap for cash but that's about it.

Great tactical wallet
Overall a good product. Craftsmanship is nice. Only problem I had was with the packaging. When they put the wallet in the box they folded the leather tab a little bit. A little water and some rubbing flattened it out but there's still some visible creases. You can set what I'm talking about in my first picture, top right corner. I can't complain to much though as it's half the price of similar wallets on the market.
