I was afraid to install this item, but I was not going to purchase a new dryer. It works well and easy to install. I am very happy I took the time to purchase this item. My dryer dries clothes fast now.

Dryer is heating again. Parts arrived quickly and were straight forward to install although not as easy as other dryer brands I have worked on and there’s a lot of sharp metal. I have three Samsung appliances and all have failed within three years. Dryer, heating element. Top loading washer, water inlet valve assembly. French Door Refrigerator, failed first year, main compartment and ice maker freezes up every couple months. All upgrades and fixes installed by Samsung qualified service techs and still not with a darn. I finally installed a extra heating element to improve defrost and that works great for main compartment. Now, just ice maker freeze up remains. Replaced ice maker assembly twice and still go good. There has been going legal action for having recall due to Samsung ice build up, but not for our model. Samsung engineers need to go back to school. I will not buy Samsung products in the future.

It fit perfectly. And it worked once I installed it. Only time will tell how good it does in the long run tho.

Bought one of these to repair our dryer and seemed to work good but the thermal fuse failed a couple weeks later. Bought another kit to replace the fuse figuring I’d have some extra parts if anything else went wrong but the thermal fuse failed again. Bought a third kit and within a day or so the fuse failed again.Ended up buying a thermal fuse from a local repair store and the OEM fuse has been going fine.I want to add that the vents were clean and I even cleaned out the minimal lint build up inside the dryer when I took it apart. I’m not a pro repair man but have repaired our dryer multiple times with no issues. Ended up returning the 2nd and 3rd repair kits purchased. The kit is a great value but I think you’d be better off getting an OEM thermal fuse.

Not bad to replace works well so far

For the price I cannot complain. I purchased this kit August 24, 2023, and had to order again on February 12, 2025 because the dryer stopped heating again. I did compare the old and new parts using a digital multi-meter to see if I could narrow down which component of the 5 went bad, but all of the readings were extremely close. only .2 ohm difference in the heating coil, everything else was the same. Either way, I replaced all 5 parts again and the dryer is back in working condition. Even if this goes bad every year, $3 a month is better than spending $500 on a new dryer.

It was easy to replace but only lasted a few months. With that said, it's an old dryer and may have been due to other reasons caused by the other components.
