Q: What is difference in this one and the silicone ones?

I have not used the silicone one but I can tell you that I have used this one about 4 times and still have yet to be pleased with the end result.

Q: Is this a double shot mold or a single shot mold?

You get 1 shot per cavity for a total of 6The other cup (removable ) is the one you place inside after you put the raw cookie dough in...to keep it in place while baking

Q: Could you use this for brownies as well?

It may work for brownies. I've only tried it so far with a harder crunchy cookie. Good luck
