I am always hesitant to give negative reviews, especially as in this case customer service was good. However the product was disappointing. Quality was adequate (given the relatively inexpensive price) but as the previous reviewer notes there was no tog rating stated on the packaging or sewn-in care label (which in fact related to another product with the incorrect description crossed out by hand). I don't know what method the manufacturer is using to determine tog rating, but what I will say is that the duvet immediately struck me as thicker than I would expect for a 1.5 tog, in fact it was very similar to a 4.5 tog duvet I have, and I have since bought a 1-tog duvet from Marks & Spencer which is MUCH thinner than this one was. In all fairness, I should say that I did not use the duvet and I suppose it's possible that in use it is much cooler than its appearance and feel would suggest, but I would be surprised if that was the case. I returned the duvet and was refunded.If you are simply looking for an ordinary lightweight summer quilt this would probably be fine, hence two stars rather than one. However, if you specifically want a very light duvet - lighter than a standard 'summer' duvet - I could not recommend this one.

This is a very good product but the terylene cover means that, to me, it still feels quite warm. My husband and I still throw it off. I would prefer it have had a cotton cover like my 1 tog. Having said all that, I would still recommend it and being 200x200cm I have been able to attach poppers to it and my 200x200 1tog so that we can ring the changes with the weather. Not all double duvets are square in my experience.

A light, airy duvet, both in weight when handling it , and feel on the bed. It's a bit slippery because the cover is not pure cotton but price was a consideration for me. I was amazed at the quick delivery especially as I ordered on a Sunday and I live in France!

This is very lightweight which is just what we were looking for. Still not as cool as we'd like, but then it is very hot here at the moment (London in July!). I think for the price, and for the ease of use and 'lightness of being' it is well worth it, and certainly better than the other summer duvets we have tried.

Prompt delivery and a lovely duvet, the only thing that let it down was that it had dirty mark on the cover. I have managed to remove this so did not send back for a replacement.

The duvet is what it says, cool and light, just what l needed.The duvet set was the right colour but very thin material, however the price justified the quality.

My husband and I have different body temperatures. He is happy to sleep under a quilt cover in the summer, I get too cold. Always thought 4.5 tog was as low as it got. Really glad I found this 1.5 to quilt, it's perfect! Ordering was easy and delivery as promised. Thank you!

Duvet arrived quickly but not overly impressed. I ordered this duvet to replace a 4.5 tog one for my son who gets very hot at night. However this one feels even thicker than the original one i had and my son gets just as sweaty!!! Wish I hadn't bothered.
