While looking for available shortbread, I happened to see this brand, made in France. I was encouraged to try these, especially after seeing that a discount was being offered. I am delighted to say that these cookies are very tasty (you can tell that the duo really loves using butter in their recipes) and having four cookie squares in a "bar", topped with milk chocolate that's then sprinkled with crushed filberts/hazelnuts, presents well and is convenient to take along to work, play, shopping, picnicking, etc. The bakers offer several other versions of cookies and crackers, plus different packaging. I'm planning to try the shortbread squares with chocolate and caramel topping next! Bon Appetit!!

I went in search of these after trying them on a Delta flight. That flight was the only time I’ve ever gone out-of-my-way to ask the flight attendant for anything extra, as I knew I needed more after I took my first bite. I had two packs on the one flight; three on the return flight. Judge away if you must, but these things are freaking delicious.I really love the ones with caramel; I’m not a fan of dark chocolate normally (I prefer milk chocolate), but that’s the kind they served on the plane and even those are amazing. I’m so-so about the hazelnut ones since I’m not a huge fan of nuts in general, but the flavor is good. They came packed surprisingly well in ice packs and were in perfect condition upon arrival.They’re not huge cookies by any stretch of the imagination, but because of the intensity of the chocolate flavor one package leaves you feeling like you ate more than you actually did. Others have mentioned that they’re not a great value because they’re so small; I get that to some degree—and they are probably priced a little higher than they should be. That being said, I feel like if you’re looking for a really good deal, buying packs of specialty cookies online is probably not the best approach for you in the first place. If, however, you are willing to spend a bit extra on something that has a unique flavor and great texture, this is the treat for you!

I discovered these in a first-class "treat basket" and went looking for where I could buy them for myself. They are a nice treat, or a fun snack. They go great with coffee or tea. Inside the wrapper are four small (maybe an inch?) squares of crunchy cookie, with the chocolate topping, so each of the four is separate. (You can share, or you can pace yourself so you don't finish before you're done with your cup of coffee/tea. I give one (i.e., a wrapper with four little cookies) to clients as a treat or souvenir; people always ask about them the next time they are in. (One "bar" works as a bring-home treat for up to four household members!) Turn-around on my order was quick, and the box was well-packed. They are the kind of cookie an adult wants and needs.

The cookie part is tasteless and very hard. The caramel in that flavor was hard and sticky- not pleasant. The chocolate was good, but can't chisel it out to eat it on its own. Don't have to wonder what these taste like any longer, and won't buy again.... all but one pack of the two BOXES I ordered (variety pack) hit the trash VERY quickly. I'm sticking with the St. Michel Butter Cookies.

These are now one of my favorite cookies!I liked the hazelnut one the most! I won’t order the caramel one because it was too sweet and the caramel wasn’t melted so it sticks to your teeth and the dark chocolate one is really good too but I prefer the Hazelnut! It’s addictive!

Got these for the staff of the physical rehab center I am in trying to walk again. They are great everyone likes them

I was on a Delta flight a month or so ago and one of the snacks was Michel et Augustin cookies. I was so impressed with them that I got home and ordered a box. These are delightful cookies, especially if you like shortbread. They are pretty pricey at about $1.60 for a pack of four small cookies. So you aren't going to be blowing your diet and wolfing too many down. But they are worth the money.

These cookies are fantastic! I love that there’s 4 cookies to a package . They’re awesome to pop in your bag for a snack. I send them to my Daughter who is serving in South Korea at the DMZ she shares them with soldiers from other UN countries…they are a huge hit ! I’ve had to send 6 boxes!
