Good tool to have for any guitar

Good tool - be careful with sharp corners
The gauge is accurate and works well for the purpose. I took one star off because the corners are so sharp! If you accidentally graze your guitar body, you will scratch it with this tool. If you are careful, it makes measuring string height, etc. easy.

Adjust your action , do it.
Worked great to finally adjust the action and on 4 guitars, turns out most guitars come with high action and must be adjusted to user preference.This worked great to measure at the 12th fret how high the strings were so I know how much to material to remove from the saddle. My guitars are easier to play now, as long as you don't take too much off because you can get fret buzz if the strings are too low., but you can always buy a new saddle.

If you're thinking, "Do I need to spend $10 on something JUST to measure my string height?" Yes. Just buy it. It's going to save you so much time and hassle.I've setup two guitars with this since purchase and it's invaluable. I can quickly take measurements of my string before and after I take them off to make modifications and then makes sure they are returned to the same height.There are many ways to measure the same thing with this tool. If you'd prefer to measure in MM or imperical, or by using one of the two ascending string height gauges, you can. Plain and simple, if you're going to setup a guitar or do any changes involving a screwdriver, you should buy this.This is one of those tools where it's so inexpensive YET so useful you can't justify not buying it.
