Fantastic product!
Only had this two weeks. I have used it three times on my Alaskan Malamute. It is a real game changer. I only wish I had purchased one a couple of years back. It's almost impossible to de-shed a Malamute using brushes , rakes, etc and it takes weeks of brushing. I fired this up and went to work on my pooch, he loved it (he is really nervous with loud noises) but he wasn't fazed by this at all, it is fairly loud, but not that bad.. It took me about an hour to de-shed him, i got a good 80% off, lawn was white and an inch thick of hair, but it worked a treat, literally blew all the dead hair and undercoat off, it's extremely powerful and will blow the hair up to 25 feet into the air. You could see the relief on my Mals face as it was lifting the dead hair out... It looks / feels well made, time will tell, it doesn't get clogged up at all. At the moment, after a few uses I would give it 5 stars, it's excellent. Hopefully it will last for a few years!

A great purchase for my long-haired dog.
I had one of these a long time ago when I was a dog groomer and I find this one just as good.Although it is reported to be quiet, I think this is intended to mean in comparison to other brands. I doubt that it is possible to make a blaster which isn't quite noisy. I found that the first nozzle I used whistled very loudly but i was lazy and instead of working out what the problem was, I changed to a different nozzle which didn't whistle. I keep the blaster just inside my garage door and after a wet walk, I take it outside to use and then put it back inside again.I introduced it gradually to my 6 month old German Shepherd, increasing the amount of time bit by bit and he now accepts it fully. I am always careful not to let it blow in his face.It doesn't dry him completely but it does drive off a lot of the excess water and some of the mud so that he takes a lot less time to dry off and stops him shaking water and mud all over the house.I am very pleased that I bought this and wouldn't be without it.

Great product
Very surprised and impressed with this dryer. Ive been grooming for 10 years and used various brands but primarily Aelous. This dryer is incredibly robust and stylish, great value for money and look forward to purchasing from this seller in the future

Great pet dryer, excellent for curly hair like Bichon Frise
I have a Bichon Frise and I always groom him myself. I was so tired of using my hairdryer to dry his hair it never did a proper job and it took me ages, after reading the reviews of this product I decided to buy it and I'm delighted I did. It's super fast and immediately starts to straight his hair while it dries, so I just brush him a little bit when it was nearly dry and at the end to fluff his hair. It's super strong, I only use it with the minimum power which was more than enough for my dog and I didn't use the heat that much as it wasn't necessary. It's not much noisier as a strong human hairdryer, although my dog was a bit uncomfortable with the amount of air that blows from the hose but after a while he was ok with it. It also came with a metallic comb great for fluffing my dog's hair.

Good value
I already have a dog dryer/blaster on a stand (costing nearly five times as much) but in the winter its a bit bylky to keep hauling in and out of the garage to dry two large wet dogs everyday. I wanted something that did the same job (adjustable air flow, heater built in etc) that was smaller, easier to store and therefore could be kept in a cupboard in the utility to room and be handy for drying purposes in inclement weather - and lets face it, we have a lot of that here!I have to say I'm impressed. It seems to be decent quality, and comes with a host of 'extras' - several different nozzles, including one with a built in brush - and a handy grooming tool that's a cross between a rake and a slicker, that I've never seen before but is really useful. As to the performance of the dryer, it's very good. Perhaps not quite as powerful and my professional/salon quality item but then again its much cheaper. It's certainly good enough for its purpose, the heater is effective and the adjustable air flow works well. It's powerful enough to act as a 'blaster' i.e the air flow is powerful enough to blow the water droplets out of the coat, not just warm it, and the hose is long enough to get right round a large (60+ kg dog). Can't fault it for the price.

Serious piece of Kit!
This a serious piece of kit. Do not understand the negative comments some have posted that the dryer is not powerful enough? I would suggest, no animal owner would use the dryer on its maximum output for the simple reason the velocity at the maximum output would be way too much for one's dog. I have mine set at 50% and that may be pushing it a bit.On unpacking, one finds a spare filter and other extras. Overall, a serious piece of kit which seems well designed and manufactured.

nearly puts your dog into orbit. we have a Malamute and the shear amount of fur this removes is unbelievable, done inside our shed which is now lagged with fur everywhere.
